I thought the goal was not P2W

Check the logistics tab. They can be bought for gold.

Oof, wait? The pz38T has like 50mm of frontal armor no?

Off topic question: can you still shoot the ba-11 tyres? And does that do anything?

Yes, the F model has 50mm frontal armor, like the Pz3E. But it is smaller, and more mobile.

Well IMO proper matching making will improve this situation. I understand that the game needs money to grow. But allowing someone with endgame items and squads to battle new players is going to wreck the game.

Just like the argument that was used with the premium squads.

I don’t care if someone has the money to advance themselves above everyone else but they shouldn’t be allowed to fight in battles with new players while using their purchased/superior lineup. Make them fight other players at their own level.

I know I’m talking about some kind of BR system which also opens up a whole other can of worms, but seriously we would not be having the outcry about premium squads today if there was such a system.

All they would have had to do is increase the BR of the purchased squads to a level were they would not be clubbing new players.

People hated a “BR” stystem.

People generally liked the ERA part, but not the matchmaker part.

I’m not advocating a BR system per say but some system that will prevent people from purchasing their way to end game but still allowing them to fight in the early or lower tiers with that equipment

My system wasn’t a BR system either, people just perceived it that way. Give the topic a read, if you want. Could give you some insight

I mean currently to endgame would cost over $1000 for one side of one campaign. $1000 to be ahead of the competition for a month would be pretty uncommon unless Jeff Bezos’s friend group takes interest in Enlisted lol

Once you get to level 2 on that specific faction you can check in the logistics, BA11/Pz38(t)F cost 1875 each, and tbh at this early stage of the game Pz38(t)F just should not be a thing (has 50mm frontal armor and 30mm side and rear, so it is almost invincible against the basic T-60, and I killed 6 T-60 before their engineers took me out with an AT cannon)

After getting Pz38tF and playing one battle in it I would agree…At this early stage of the game when people don’t have T-26/BT-7 yet, putting in something that has this much armor power against the poor T-60 is just bizarre, and Soviets can deal with this thing only with an AT gun, or somehow grinding 185k experience to at least get the T-26…or, also spend money and buy BA11 which is equipped with enough firepower to deal with this monstrosity.

Furthermore, the Beretta and PPT27 premium squads that are also only accessible through paying real money are pretty damn strong as well…Before this, Germans never had an SMG with a rate of fire that is higher than PPD, and Soviets never had an SMG with a rate of fire over 1000…

On top of all this, Gaijin also decided that directly selling MG squads was a bright idea (financially maybe), but having 4 MGs in one squad on the first day of OBT while people are still playing with bolt action rifles is kinda busted, especially considering that if someone (like me) pay enough, that person can have 3 squads with fully automatic weapons on the very first day of OBT in Moscow, while also having 2 tanks including one that is virtually invincible against T-60.

Please Gaijin, don’t do this game like this…

Players with good aim with their bolties actually do not notice this tooooo much as they generally are able to get the first shot off. With the larger normal squads it’s not too bad.

Well, skipping progress is one thing, stuff that can only be bought being stronger than the grinded stuff is another…

Let’s take the most extreme example, Pz38(t)F. Nothing else in the Moscow campaign has an armor value that goes over the 35mm threshold, except that this thing, a content only available through paying real money, has 50mm frontal armor and 30mm on the sides and rear.

What else? Let’s say the 195th Infantry Regiment that is also only accessible through paying 1475 enlisted gold, which happens to have access to Beretta M1918, a weapon with a damage value higher than PPK’s (6.8>6.6) while also having a rate of fire that is higher than that of an upgraded PPD’s (940>840)

Pz3E has 50mm too.

Not saying the Pz38tF is not dumb, Pz38tA would have been better.

That isn’t what is said in the garage preview though…

Actually nvm, I had my model designations mixed up. The Pz3 doesn’t get 50mm armor until the J model.

Are you sure that you didn’t mistaken the PzIIIN (which is available only in Normandy)? That thing has 53mm, but it’s not in the same campaign which makes its comparison invalid (since that thing is supposed to fight Shermans and Stewards, not poor T-60 and its 27mm of penetration)

(I meant Stuart, not Steward)

I am using war thunder for armor model comparisons, as it shows much more and they are literally copy pasted from that game.

Pz3N has 50mm +20mm add-on armor on the hull, 50mm on the turret.
