To use the jumbo to kill the panther, you have to break the gun barrel, break the tracks, and wait for the crew to come out.

Yeah that is the only time I’ve killed a panther in my jumbo, don’t really play Normandy anymore, was to barrel it and go for the mg port after it fucked over my turret drive and crew
I could say the same about the Jumbo - break the barrel or tracks to lure crew out and if you’re lucky, hit mg port from a distance. They’re about even, it depends on skill of player whether Jumbo or Panther wins. I experienced several times when Jumbo players take cannon of Panther out and then it doesn’t matter anymore if one tank is a bit better than other.

I believe if the 2 are face hugging , panther and jumbo, then panther will win since it has to lower its gun which will cancel the angling of the jumbo’s hull
nope tryed in pratice range could not pen the jumbo, balancement reasons a guess.
but its simplier going for the mg port at close engagment, jumbo cant do anything anyway.

Panther doesn’t have to. Just shoot at the jumbo’s front armor.

The jumbo’s MG port is quite large, so it can hit it well.
ps. by comparison, the Panther’s MG port is really small.
I agree that at closer distances Panther have advantage, if player knows about MG port. But then again, also Jumbo player can easily take Panther cannon out al closer ranges. But at large distances it’s close to impossible to get it done without wasting half of your AP shells. Optics are just too flickery to aim at long ranges and it becomes almost stalemate - Panther vs Jumbo wasting it’s AP rounds on each other, till someone gets lucky and somehow pens and kills a couple of crew members.
I think the hill on a particular map is the problem.
because of that, panther can attack in an advantageous position and panther on the hill looks down at the jumbo, allowing it to penetrate the front armor.
I somehow get most of the complaints on this forum are either:
US WEAK GERMANY STRONK (Normandy)
or
ITALY WEAK - ALLIES STRONK (Tunisia)
I know as I am responsible for the latter most of the time 
It is the same situation only instead of invincible panther you have invincible grant sitting far on a hill and wrecking everything.

You are a good player, so you know what to do.
And I am pretty sure that if you see that the tickets twindeling and no one, not enough are capping, that you will get out of the tank and help to capture that point
I have nothing against, Snipers, Mortars, Tanks and Planes. To cap you need to kill enough enemies and all the before mentioned play an important part in that (if the players know their shit!). But having 4/5 of your time doing just that “killing enemies” leaves not enough for actually capping the point, especially if the enemies have a good player.

Even I am a german player, I still feel that US is too weak…
tank is better than US, FG is better than M2, MG42 is better than BAR, MP43 is better than tompson a lots.
the only thing better than german is the plane… but is no help at all, 188 just weaker than P47 little bit.

when i play in Germany, I’ll kill the bot entire game time.
when i play in US, i will struggle with 9 bot players and lose in vain.

It is a player problem, not an equipment problem.
Do not get me wrong, Axis sure as hell have now the edge over Allies in Normandy (while before Allies had the edge). But no matter what, before or after the update, I usually win no matter which side I am on and to make things harder I play Allies with vanilla squads. The first Panther I encountered was killed a couple seconds later, explosive pack. Everyone starts with explosive packs from campaign level one.
It is a skill and knowledge issue, but yeah by whining and complaining how weak the Allies are, the less players will join the side. It is “Axis is meta”. You see this in every other game too, people will use what gives them the slightest edge.
But hey, not a single one of those “whiners” ever wanted help. What they could do to change their experience (neither did Axis ones) it just gets on my nerves as it is a waste of time. Tomorrow the next **** comes and tells “Buhahahaaha I can’t frontally kill Jumbo’s” than I tell him, yes you can watch this video and he is like “Buhahahaha but the planes are OP” … than I tell him that I have no problem shooting down planes, but he insists that it is like that.
Dude … what is the point? You want help? Ask for advice, look for strong players to team up with. If they refuse to keep playing with you than maybe, you are just not that good at that game. But the devs do not balance the game around people that just don’t understand how to play.
I absolutely do not mean that offensive! But to be honest, I have the feeling it is a waste of time because you are just going to reply “Buhwawahaaha but Panther OP”. Please tell my I am wrong.
