- flank rallies in attack
- sandbags, hedgehogs and barbed wire in defence
- aa against bomber runs
until raytracing is widely adopted, every map/object needs to be manually shaded. these are mostly stock objects made in neutral lighting (or in one sun orientation) so when they copy pasted them on other maps they inherited all of those properties.
i dont believe we will get fix cause they would need to do multiple maps multiple times cause of weather/time of day changes.
Damn that’s a strong ass leaf
In reality no one was attacking empty dark wooden house.
Thats a bombardment, not and infantry assault
Thats not even an “assault” in military sense against other force probably.
I assume the burning village photos are from belarus, by looking at enviroment and houses .
Wehrmacht commited horrible atrocities and ethnic cleansing policy against local population ( generalplan ost)
There is literally no single settlement that didnt see an action and skirmish in eastern europe
Still waiting for the “That’s not real life, real life is not in black and white”
Because I’ve found the colorized picture too.
I don’t see hundreds of soldiers trying to get into single small dark empty house. Or barn. Or empty square (Berlin)
Your problems are not problems.
These are insignificant elements.
As for the recoil from the hip, it’s good. Don’t make Pudzian out of these soldiers. Do you know who Pudzian is? Automatic weapons cannot be hip lasers with continuous fire.
And?
Where are hundreds of soldiers desperately trying to capture dark hole?
I see only small group safely checking from the distance.
Now i understand
Objectives are too illogical.
They want you to take 1 random cabin in a small town instead of town itself.
Objevtive areas must be bigger.
Still wrong.
If you want to find use for realistic illumination, you need 5000 real players with perfect connection on a large area in a couple day long match without any objectives.
But Enlisted is is an arcady short-session game, and for that purpose we need arcady illumination to see arcady objectives.
Bigger areas = more dark places = more hiding players = no atmosphere
