It’s possible your provider’s servers are in different cities in Italy, and one of the connections just went through Tuscany. Nothing super weird, and the IP is the same.
And in general, take care of your digital hygiene. I definitely won’t do anything malicious, but recklessly sharing your email and IP on a forum isn’t the best idea — it’s better to blur or hide that information.
It would be strange if you were logging in from Guangzhou or Russia
For the future, it’s better to hide your IP or at least blur it in screenshots.
Viva Italia!
Yes, I actually rushed it, I didn’t think about it, but I wanted to show my transparency, I’m in compliance! Anyway, I also tried changing the password, you never know!
he doesnt need to create legit server. he only needs to fool anti cheat into thinking that hacker is playing on a legit server. i am guessing they probably captured data stream from legit game and then edited id of player either in that data stream or in anti cheat or both. then they can use any crappy aimbot that anti cheat detects at same time hacker “is playing” and player can get banned.
players are so shit in this game, that there were only rare few times someone played so good that i would even consider him being cheater(more probably just some tryhards).
i would recommend removing your mail from forum.
IP geolocation is often wrong.
I think I downloaded gaijin pass and used two-factor verification to protect my account and my purchases. I never thought of something like this. This is a huge disappointment.
Well, it’s better to share this only with people you trust, or with verified Gaijin/BattlEye staff, and so on.
I know there have been cases of doxxing and de-anonymizing in this game — probably no one is after you, but don’t neglect it.
In any case, keep looking for info on the issue, wait for a response from Gaijin, and maybe check BattlEye forums or contact them directly.
It’s possible the logs will show someone else connected to your account.
Maybe you slipped somewhere and your email+password combo was discovered.
Cheaters often buy other people’s accounts, mess around on them, and suddenly your account gets banned. But if the GM sees that others logged in, by HWID or IP, the chance of an unban is pretty good.
Or maybe someone really exploited that server spoofing vulnerability with your ID.
I don’t have much initial info, so I’m just trying to consider all possibilities.
Use AI as well — it can save time in your search.
That’s about it — no more ideas from me.
it could also be false positive cause of way that anti cheat works. or could be cause of some program that anti cheat doesnt like (e.g. you cant run counter strike if you have cheat engine open in background).
Well, if that’s true, that’s a huge problem. But I guess they know it. It’s not rocket science. If ordinary people find this kind of info on some forums, it would be hard to believe that devs are not aware of something like this. I guess then that exploit would be much more common.
I don’t know, I’m not a computer expert. I just hope that either Gaijin or BattleEye fix this mess and focus on protecting player accounts. This thing is stressing me out.
Yeah, as i know if you start CE when game was lauched it will be not good for ur account)
But in reality, there have always been a lot of problems with BattlEye. People write about it on Steam and in other games too.
Let’s hope the game support doesn’t leave him in the lurch and, even if it takes a while, eventually resolves the issue.
Not sure how it was before, but in Enlisted i see more cheaters than in all my other games combined.
This is one of the main reason i dont play high BR at all.
well i didnt research into this specific exploit, but i have been educated on few of them and they usually require really good knowledge(unless someone made it commercially available).
btw this happened year or two ago
Skill issue moment
Do you guys know how to change my email address? I’ve already changed my password, but I can’t change my primary email address.
probably the least cheaters out of any game since there is so little you can cheat with and the reward for cheating is also low while the risk of losing your progression is too high.
So far I have met maybe 2 cheaters.
hrough the Gaijin.net website
- Go to .gaijin.net and log in to your account.
- Click on “Account” in the top-right corner.
- Go to “Profile” → “Email”.
- Click “Change Email” or “Edit”.
- Enter your new email address and your current password to confirm.
- Verify the change via the confirmation email sent to your new address.
2. Through the game client
- In Enlisted or War Thunder, go to Profile Settings → Account Settings → Change Email.
- The system may redirect you to the Gaijin.net website to complete the verification.
3. If it doesn’t work
- Contact Gaijin Support: https://support.gaijin.net/
- Provide your current email, the new email, and explain why you want to change it.
- It helps to do this from the same device/IP you usually use to play — it speeds up verification.
Thanks for the help everyone, should I also try updating
BattleEye or is it better to leave it alone?
Give it a try, there aren’t many options anyway.
The one real head scratcher for me is if this is true, some people really have no lives. I mean, to waste time creating phony accounts just to get others banned is idiotic, and for what? Just to get their rocks off? I mean, if there were money at stake I could see it, but for idiots to do this just to get their rocks off is ridiculous.
Well then i guess players who do 180 no-scope headshots is just way more common here then in CoD… probably the playerbase is just built better
