How will you transfer our unlocks to the new system?

Example
Player A grinded 40lvls in moscow.
Player B grinded 40lvls in berlin.

Transfering unlocks 1:1 would be unfair for the A player as he spent the same time grinding things in the old system, and get acces only to stuff about in the middle of the new tech tree.
Meanwhile the B player for the same effort gets the final, probably the most expensive unlocks.

Alternative is to make everything locked and give players equivalent of points for their unlocks.
But then what if someone unlocked 5 MP40s? He gets 5 times the points? If that’s the case, their value will be heavily inflated or some players will blitz through the tech tree.

I’d like to know what are yours (devs’) plans to do this “technology transfer”.

probably:

experience + squads exp + bronze/silver/gold orders (spent and available) + many many more = compensate amount of research points.

Do order cards also go away? I thought it’s only tech tree?

I’m quite sure they do. I guess there will be one currency “research points”. It will make things easier and it will open the door for some changes.

yeah, I found it

I missed it before

you see, so i think they will bring everything into one bag and mix it all up and give us research points.

i don’t… think it’s really going to matter that much betweeen the differences.

or so i think.

at the end of the day, you get what you grinded for.

meaning that, Moscow Players won’t really care about for example berlin campaign / unlocks and what not.
as they wouldn’t grind anything else as they are playing moscow.

like, it’s up to them.

which, they still have planty of time for people to grind what they need/want before the update…

Or… currency?

I’ve seen ridiculous advices from cc that we should grind Berlin so we will have all end weapons when the update hits XD that’s just hilarious someone actually thought this is how it’s gonna be lol

well, it’s not a terrible advice for once.

berlin is actually one of the most balanced in terms of equipment base on year ( or i should say, neutral ) because it will allow you to play pretty much majority of the campaigns from 1943 above.

though, yeah, newer players will be putted against latter players and/or newer playars that found their selves having grinded berlin first.

Yet previously people were restricted by the campaign they mained. Now it won’t matter so there is not really a reason to not grind the end stuff like in any other game.

well, not really.

if you are interested or an hardcore of moscow, you won’t really care about other stuff.

moscow equipment will most likely allow people to play both moscow and stalingrad. perhaps a bit of tunisa as well.

so… i think?

unless you wanna progress.

which then, i guess yeah, go for berlin. though i don’t really reccomend it, because after that, what will you do?

If we take WT or WG games as example, people tend to try and get to the end stuff.
I don’t see why enlisted would be differet.

because end tier are a pain in the ass.

meaning that you will most likely have to try hard or find people that will do just that.

and i’m not sure people would like to start from the end to get their asses kicked.

but i could be wrong.

( even though, this whole system might… not actually prevent seal clubbers. so idk )

It doesn’t stop people from trying. At least not in a while.

I have Normandy Axis fully maxed, have 2 levels left for Berlin Soviets, and only half a level left for Normandy Allies, so I’m hoping I basically have everything unlocked when the new system is added

No, use only mid/high-end equipment it mean face people who also use them this mean face 100% of time veteran player who are ultra competitive, use low-end equipment mean face new user and who like slower battle, you have the choice to decide what type of battle you want if you have all equipment tier

which, yeah i guess it’s up to them.

not really unfair as they still have planty of time before the update.

even though, will be somewhat unfair to newer players when the update will be released.

though, depends. so i think it won’t be that bad. we gotta see how it will plays out

At least in theory.
If a tryhard wants to sealclub with 3 assaulter squads with basic weapons, nothing will stop him (as far as I’m aware).

Other tryhard on enemy side will stop him.
