If you already have 2 mil silver and nothing to spend it on then i guess it doesn’t matter, haha, but on the research screen there’s a little " = " to the right of your saved research points that lets you convert them to silver at a very bad rate. You should keep some though, as new stuff gets added to the research tree from time to time and you can instantly unlock it if you have points saved up.
