I went and splashed out on cosmetics again
Right after I bought the skins I got into a rare BR 3 match while playing BR 4.
Paying the snail gives you advantages confirmed??

Just FYI the 'Gneisenau" decal is from a Cold War Leopard 1 tank.
So I have heard, but it’s all the germans have at the moment.
Thinking now, wouldn’t it be a good idea to make custom names, not historical? Theoretically, something named like that could’ve appeared on the battlefield at one point or another, no?
…right.

The CMs are aware of this exploit but don’t report it intentionally
Any news about the giant decals explot fix? @Ungorisz
That’s not counting as an exploit, it’s an old “bug” (if you mean that you can oversize decals using planes), but we left that in the game intentionally. I mean we didn’t ask the devs for a fix on purpose. It’s a minor thing and fixing it wouldn’t change much, since the already existing decals wouldn’t be removed from the tanks.

Guess it’s not a bug/exploit when they like it
Guess it’s not a bug/exploit when they like it
And i’m glad… fun should take priority but you should rightfully get your cosmetic toggle they promised.
Exploit??? More like “Please shoot me!”
Lmao that is my APC btw, idk why would this be considered an exploit, its just a bug. An exploit: make use of (a situation) in a way considered unfair or underhand. There is no advantage here to having this, and frankly its a nice bug to have because of the limited amount of slots to add decals or whatever on your vehicle, and this bug actually allows for some nice/funny decals that you can have on ur vehicles, it doesnt have to be “hIstoRicaLly aCCurAte” all the time, that is what BP skins are for. To call this an exploit means u have no understanding between the 2 different terms.

@Veekay45 This bug gives me zero forms of advantage at all, it is so contrasting to any environment which is the whole reason i have used these decals. People with humor should actually get a laugh out of this when they encounter it, you shouldnt be crying boo hoo its a bug. And this actually gives use to the decals we have gather from all the silver boxes, otherwise its really pointless to have any form of decals in this game.
I don’t mind when people do this but i really hope we get filter for unauthentic customization

I don’t want to laugh when I play WW2 games.
If you want your tanks to look like clown cars – sure, it’s your right.
At the same time, I believe I should have the right to turn this off on my screen.

Absolutely not pointless.
I use decals on almost every vehicle I can, but in their real WW2 style as that’s what I enjoy:
I try to keep my vehicle customization as authentic as possible, as that’s what I enjoy:
For those wondering how to use the Merciless decal:
It goes on KV-1
“The story of the tank is quite characteristic of the war years – it was built at the expense of the Winners of the Stalin Prize – famous children’s writers Samuel Marshak and Sergei Mikhalkov, the creative community of artists “Kukryniksy” (Mikhail Kupriyanov, Porfiry Krylov, Nikolai Sokolov), poets Nikolai Tikhonov and Viktor Gusev. They appealed to the Defense Fund with a request to transfer the state awards they received to build a KV-1 heavy tank”.
3 GTBr (8 TBr) - 3rd Guards Tank Brigade (KV-1, KV-1S , T-34-76 , T-60): in the center - brigade number, below - company number.
From Steam community:
" Decal specifics
The decal presents itself as a circle, with the top half being thicker than the bottom half. In the middle there is a number (3) which denotes the brigade, in this case the 3rd. There is a small notch on the bottom of the circle underneath the brigade number.
History
The 3rd Guards were involved in the first half of WWII. From my research I believe they were formed in September 1941 as the 8th Tank Brigade, before getting Guards status and changing to the 3rd in January 1942.
2nd Guards Tatsinsky Tank Corps :
at first a triangle was used (T-34-76, 1943);
then an arrow with a letter (the first letter of the brigade commander’s surname):
" L " and numbers from 100 - 4 GTBr, " B " and numbers from 200 - 25 GTBr, " N " and numbers from 300 - 26 GTBr (1944-45, T-34-85).The tactical identification mark of the 2nd GTK was a white arrow with its tip pointing in the direction of the vehicle. This mark was applied in three positions - on both sides and on the rear of the turret. The tactical number of the vehicle (usually three-digit) was located under the arrow. The emblem was sometimes accompanied by a star (options: red, white, outline, in a circle). The letter above the arrow coincided with the first letter of the brigade commander’s surname:
4th Guards Tank Brigade - letter L (Brigade Commander Oleg Aleksandrovich Losik), numbers from 100,
25th Guards Tank Brigade - letter B (Brigade Commander Semyon Mefodievich Bulygin), numbers from 200,
26th Guards Tank Brigade - letter H (Brigade Commander Stepan Kuzmich Nesterov), numbers from 300.
T-34-85 tanks of the 51st Brigade, 9th Guards Tank Corps August 1944
Unfortunately we don’t have this type of turret for T-34-76 in the game but anyway NICE.
‘Sniper’ nickname fits the T-34-57 role
