Three Type 1 Ho-Ki tracked APCs in China, 1945

Initial deployment of the Type 1 Ho-Ki was to China for operations in the Second Sino-Japanese War. Type 1 Ho-Ki vehicles were later deployed to Burma and the Philippines in 1944.[2][21] Units of the 2nd Tank Division were reassigned to the Japanese Fourteenth Area Army and sent to the Philippines, where it was deployed on the main island of Luzon. The 2nd Tank Division had a shortage of half-tracks, therefore, at least four Type 1 Ho-Ki’s were used for troop transport on Luzon during the Battle of the Philippines.[22][23]

Do you speak about the Add Overvalwagen for Japan APC (SPW) for Japan - Suggestions / Vehicles - Enlisted — official forum ?

Good point

If i could choose , The Ho-Ki would be TT.
One of the Overalwagen variants could be Event the other variant could even be premium.

If you make the Ho-KI TT than the other factions would need other TT Trooptransporter variants.

Doo you have enough idears for the other 3 Factions?

Imo absolutely.

Myself and others have argued APC is a dumb idea when they are all trucks.

It should be BR II (or even BR I) and then BR III/IV.

BR II would be current trucks.

BR III or above would be halftracks and similar lightly armoured personal carriers.

The Ho Ki is a good example of a BR III option.

For the Allies I would propose:

Chevrolet Blitz or other Canadian Military Pattern truck AND current Studebaker as British/Commonwealth AND American options. (BR II)

Then M3 Halftrack AND Universal Carrier for BR III, US and UK/Commonwealth options.

They could make the halftrack unarmed, or either way imo USA should have M3 Halftrack regardless of premium in USSR tree because thats for USSR.

Likewise the Universal Carrier had various types. They could have an unarmed one, or as Ive proposed before either an Australian or Canadian variant. The Australian one had a single fixed Vickers machine gun.

Germany and Italy should both have national options, there have been numerous trucks suggested for Germany that arent necessarily the Opel Blitz [since some argue spawns would be confused with the generated blitzs]. Even captured French, Czech or Austrian trucks are a possible option.

A Fiat or Lancia truck would be logical for Italy. I believe someone posted a while back an Italian armoured personal carrier thing for higher BR.

Then for BR III, well Sdkfz is a no brainer, again they could release an unarmed version if worried about the premium nonsense.

There have been USSR suggestions before, Im less familiar with Soviet equipment so would refer to someone else for suggestions there. I would say that the Studebaker would have made more sense as a USSR truck and give USA the CCKW.
