New squad system is great, I love the options. Weather effects, new campaign stuff, all the rest. Good game at launch, in general.
But yes, I have requested a refund for my 4 CBT premium squads, through support. Fair enough, I just disagree with the way we paid for CBT premium packs, and will just get my money back. Fair enough, problem solved.
But other than that, the game is great now. So much content, it will take me days lol
days? try months. They increased the grind exponentially.
Yeah, the grind increased. But only cause there are more levels in campaign, and more stuff to do in general? Feels like the pace is the same.
I feel like I am making much less progress WRT men and weapon orders.
well, you have to watch in a " different " manner.
weather the grind somewhat is longer, you get many rewards than before.
just yesterday, i managed to have my first squad with 3 elements made of 3 stars, somewhat maxed out weapons, and other 2 elements made of 2 stars in less than 3/2 hours.
not to mention, i just received a 4 stars soldiers, and others " good " weapon as well.
but i have to agree that the bronze orders for medkits and grenades are really slow to make.
True. I was expecting Gaijin to flood us with bronze tickets and makes silver ones rare af. But guess I was wrong. I’m not complaining. The more the bling, the better.
Some things are better and some things are more grindy. I did amass more semi-auto rifles in one evening than I could in a week of the CBT.
I find even the 4 troops prem squad OP because they don’t have much counter in the game right now as almost everyone is running around with rifles.
This was a great update.
I do think it takes a little longer to grind out weapons and soldiers now but you can get the weapons upgraded right off the bat and select your soldier and weapon you get which does make it quicker
Except the silver orders are basically gambling.

Silver orders give you a guaranteed weapon of choice
Silver orders may reward you with unupgraded weapons, aka worth 1 unupgraded weapon, or a fully upgraded weapon, aka worth 10+ unupgraded weapons. It’s an “always prize” scratch ticket.
I’d personally prefer it giving a smaller range of possible upgrade levels. Instead of unupgraded - maxed, to +1 from unupgraded, to -1 from maxed.
Also, unless they fixed this, partially upgraded weapons do not benefit from the disassembly bonus. So that may cause issues as well.

Not saying it isn’t an improvement, but it still can be done better.

Making so these orders have less spread as to what level gun they give.
Also making the amount of parts for disassembly static, not random.
Then give bonus parts for disassembling partially upgraded guns so you get their full worth back, making it pretty easy to get your guns upgraded.
I personally do not think silver orders should give you a maxed out gun jackpot.
Just let them give only +1 from unupgraded to -1 from max.
Would also prevent the gun upgrade system from becoming redundant.
I already got 2 maxed guns from silver orders so it’s not too much gambling as it’s quite easy to get them
