Well, when there are achievement’s in game, i think people focus on that, more than team play, if you can not put a lot of time into a game, your going to be doing things, that get some small reward.
Don’t get me wrong i love the achievement’s in games, as i can just do them by playing, not trying to get them, in one go/game.
