It doesn’t make sense for everybody to be wearing shorts and short sleeves in that climate. The location is completely different than tropical pacific islands.
This would make the game better by providing more variety and making the scenario more believable

With that in mind, I do wish we had a separate customization pool for Manchuria.
Well, Manchuria is a good 10 degrees colder than what most Japanese are used to.
And the craziest culture shock: grown men must wear long pants all around the year.
As a Transylvanian Hungarian, Im still wearing shorts in september here in Budapest (that’s like a little over 20°C). I would die of a heat stroke in Japan.
