Get rid of pay to win bullshit

It’s not pay to win. I understand players wanting to be F2P but nothing in this life is free.

You do have a choice if you don’t want to pay for premium. You can also buy the slots individually. You can buy 2 slots permanently for what it cost for one month premium

I would rather say that out there are games that are so P2W that any game that is only somewhat P2W is seen as not P2W.
It’s something like moving of the Overton window.

Check this one. It’s mostly about rally points (thank you devs for spawn protection removal) but also P2W.

If the devs did you wouldn’t have access to the game.

If your squads are tuned to specific maps, exit the match and join another one. Nobody is going to lose anything from that.

Here

It’s what I m currently playing with.

You can read left corner below.
8 inf squads max or 6 with vehicles. (I m using 5 of I recall correctly)

Right so a plane that has 100+ kills in your 1000 respawns invasion match totally didn’t have a major impact as to how the game went without getting shot down.

If you had a fighter plane to shoot it down, it would never have been able to take out 10% of your respawn tickets.

This is completely irrelevant to the topic. You are putting in time into the game so you are “paying” for it in that sense already.

The directly slots are soooomewhat fine because you can earn gold and buy them to have the effect permanently even while you are a F2P. Premium time slots cannot. Remove the premium time slots and the game would be less P2W.

If the developers wanted to force every player to pay 10$/month to play this game competitive, just give the game a subscription model and remove the F2P aspect. But this game is advertised as being free to play in a competitive sense. As such, there should be nothing that forces the player to pay in order to have a fair fight against people who did pay.

Except you need to gather gold for premium account first to even see option to buy those slots. So it’s just snowball effect - if you already pay you can be more and more powerful.

Didn’t they remove that? I thought they did.

It’s also advertised as historical lmao

Heheh c’mon man… we are not living in perfect world are we?

Yet that is no reason to stonewall a suggestion that is trying to make the game more like that “perfect world”.

There’s post for those as well. But that’s another topic.

Why would you need a premium to do that?

Nope, it looks like this. And leads you to buying premium first.

For 70 bucks, you get like few months of gameplay, then the game, and support, is out. Even BF games don’t last, and get barren servers months after release. And you pay that 70 bucks every year, for every new BF.

I “love” when someone says “that’s the world we live in” when there is something bad.
Who made this world? Aliens?
If we want something to be better we can’t just say “that’s the world we live in” and do nothing.

How can I have 4 infantry squads as F2P?

Bottom line is the era of pure subscription games has long passed and is no longer a viable payment model.

‘objective advantage’ what a load of shite lol You act as if premium removes any and all limitations to your squad loadouts, it does not. Not even close. The whole basis of this game is squads that counter each other, it ain’t what you have it’s how you use it. Play smarter.
You start talking about DPS in a tactical shooter lmfao get real mate, virtually every weapon is a 1shot kill, literally irrelevant.

The hoops you people will jump through just to bitch and moan is astounding. Do you guys wake up screaming in the middle of the night with visions of that little premium star hovering above you?

70 bucks would be only the start, when DLCs release, most of the player base just moves to new maps. I was wiser with last BF and playing it using Origin subscription, just as with previous titles, lost interest in it after a month and never came back. Huge savings.
