It just doesn’t really do anything well.
It doesn’t have the damage or accuracy necessary for long range combat, it’s random and haphazard recoil makes it annoying to use midrange and it’s lack of rof makes it bad at cqc. It’s at most on par with the vz24.

Don’t worry, game will be balanced by having same matchups in all campaign, and transitioning from PvP into PvE, and later into EvE

Hmm. Perhaps I’m spoiled by the ZH-29 considering I’ve struggled to have fun with the Gewher 41, the ZH appears downright accurate in comparison. But that’s just my observation. I had no issue sniping people with un-upgraded ZH-29’s in Stalingrad.

It is just the match maker because all day there has been plenty of German players who know what they’re doing that are playing.

The stalingrad ZH and Moscow ZH are a completely different weapon stat wise.
If you don’t have the ZH in Moscow, don’t argue further, as you’d have no clue what you’re talking about.
Within Moscow, the ZH seems very inaccurate, even at like 50m The G41 is way better. Plus 12 damage isn’t enough for ranged combat. Certainly not as good as the 15 the vz24 offers.

And in general, just as a rule of thumb, a lot of stuff in Stalingrad is different then everywhere else. So only use stalingrad knowledge when talking about stalingrad and don’t try to apply it anywhere else, it’ll cause unnecessary misunderstandings.

I think, the Axis are quite strong everywhere, Moscow being one of the best campaigns for Germany. Other than the t-34 and the t-50 the Soviets are weaker in every department. If anyone needs some buffing, its the Soviets. And mybe a good tank for the Germans to counter the t-34

No, I am quite serious. Even though the Soviets have recieved a strong tank, I still win most games in Moscow and every german rifle, smg, MG and Pistol is superior to the ones the soviets have in my feeling when I play.

You don’t need to come off so brash, I was only stating my experience with the 29 and didn’t even know they were different stat wise in between campaigns.

You surely live under a rock.
Let’s break down the classes of weaponry and see which are better on which side to prove you wrong (I’m not counting gold and premium weaponry):

  1. BA rifles - Russia gets the winchester, which is the best BA of the campaign. Otherwise 91/30 and dragoon are quite equal to Kar98/Vz24
  2. Semi-autos - SVT is the best semi in campaign. G41 is weak due to reload and ZH has horrible handling
  3. SF rifles - Germany doesn’t get one, russia gets the AVS. This causes a major power gap between nations.
  4. SMGs - Soviets have the advantage for the whole tree. PPDs and PPSh are excellent. Meanwhile, MP40 is mediocre, same for MP35, berreta is a joke and kiraly comes way too late to be of any importance, and even then is worse than PPD40 and PPSh.
  5. LMGs - Germany gets a major advantage early on, though the soviets cath up later with the DT.
  6. Snipers - A very interesting category in Moscow. The soviets get very good DMRs in the SVT and AVS. While the germans get the Mkb, which is a good gun, but more of a nerfed SMG than a sniper. So overall, I’d call it equal.
  7. Pistols - Both sides get the C96, which is a very good pistol. Germans get better ones early on and more of a variety, but since you can now buy whichever one you want now, all at a fairly low level, I’d call it equal.
  8. Tanks - The soviets get very good tanks allout through the campaign except for the first T28. Meanwhile the germans get crap all throughout the campaign except for the first Pz4. Clearly better for the soviets.
  9. Planes - Mostly based on preference. But imo, soviets win cause they get the IL-2 before the germans get the BF-110, which are the two top planes in the campaign. But opinions may vary, so I’ll call it equal.

So in the end, soviets win out 5/9 times, while germany gets better stuff in 1/9 categories and 3/9 are fairly equal. I fail to see how the germans are better.

No worries man, but I do find it weird that the exact same rifle has different stats in 2 (maybe 3?) campaigns now? I dunno what the fuck the devs are thinking at this point.
