You can do good with literally any gun. Ive spent a decent bit of time upgrading a bunch of the kriegsmodell Kar98k and its pretty decent at 3 stars.

heavy slow tank pretending to be medium (same tons as IS2) !
Second Soviet tank is better than panzer 4 (first one too but has week turret), while heavy tank panther is better than Second T34 !

thats the problem i cant use a pzIV vs a t34 and if none of my team has at least a panther we are bound to be killed by the enemy tank over and over again, and there is nothing you can do about it (maybe a plane but i dont have it rn).
if you find your side loosing, building a good spawner can be a great help. I have won a lot of battles on that account alone.

P4’s can kill T34’s - perhaps not as easy as the other way around, but hte idea that you “can’t use one” is pathetic whining.
If you use a P4 you need to be cautious - I’ve seen them trying to be light tanks performing a blitzkreig among Soviet infantry - making themselves easy targets.
And I’ve been killed by ones that hide in the back a bit and bide their time - L2P differences apply!

80% of the time the spawns are one in front of the other soo good luck trying sneaking with a tank that do 10 km/h at best without letting them find you, and pray that none infantry ping you.
yes you can kill a t34 if you use your abilty but a t34 need simply to rotate the turret and shoot you in any spot and you explode that is bullshit.
Nah - I’ve bounced off the front of P4’s.
And when you are defending in an invasion there are many opportunities to remain hidden - often in the gray area off to one flank on some of the cap points - very effective ambush zones where you can easily back into cover - I’ve seen P4’s ambush multiple T34’s on that particular point - forget what the map is called…

Ow you mean like that map that starts with Bridge and they stay in grey area near the ruins that also protect their side from T-34 and just camp !!.. such a l2play difference i must admit !!
usualy i get 4/5 tank kill in that map bc the nemy tanks try to attack me but simpaly the t34 bounce everything and i one shoot them
yes you can do action of this type but your become a weight for the squad.
you cant stay in 1 spot and wait for the t34 to arrive and kill him, in part bc you waste time and in part bc you’re not in action getting kills and support allies.
the pz IV cant compete with the t34, the t34 is simply better in every way
O yes you can in particular the situation with map that starts on the bridge !! now they just w8 in grey area, covered by those ruins… shooting at bridge at everything that comes…

I play Germans in Battle of Berlin and the battles are most of the time losses.

Well, if you drive ahead and don’t look around,then yes.And if you are more agile than a t34 player, then no.
And the pz 4 is better against infantry than the t34
In my experience I have absolutely no problem using the t34 and when I say absolutely I mean it, explosive packs. Pz IV, arty nothing do serious damage.
When I use the PZ IV I can’t even exit the spawn bc there is a t34 camping and I can’t do shit about it
This is because
A. Collision curves for garbage (trams,debris, etc.)
B. Patency curve for tanks
C. And, of course, the absence of a second tank respawn.
Pz 4 actually also destroys the t34 with a shot, but this is much less common.
(I don’t think there are any problems with perception due to the lack of English)
You can’t say “Germany never wins”. It does. It’s not constructive to say “never”. Or maybe you’re the unluckiest player out there. But also you can’t say “stop whining, Germans steamroll Berlin”.
Clearly players experience various results.
I can provide you tons of screenshots while being in top 3 and lot of kills/assists/engineers point/cap defense and still lose as German. I’m not the best player in the game but i still can claim some skill (i hope so). I also love playing engineer to build smart rally points and defenses. But here I am.
Ghostofishmael also has a nice list of his fights showing a major loss for Germany. Are we unlucky every day to don’t have great teammates while other people seems to have them everytime ?
Shiivex you seem to play on Europe servers too. Where are you hiding those players to claim Germany wins most of the time ? Share those dudes !
I don’t play main german. I have “any team” selected but almost always join Germany. There’s clearly a preference for players to join Soviets. Makes me wonder why. When i get to play Soviets it’s pretty much a win
On Moscow i get to play both side equally with a similar W/L ratio. I don’t really play Normandy yet.
Pz4 can’t kill T34 ? Yes it can. Of course it can. Just like i can oneshot a Pz4 from the T34’s commander view while driving. Davai tovarich xaxaxa !

Maybe it’s a player base issue, maybe german side has too many bots so it doesn’t matter if you have 3 good players. Maybe it’s something else.
If my overall experience is losing as Germany you can’t make me say the opposite. Just like if you, on your side you win most of the time then ok, i trust you. I’ll however defend my point of view. People need to stop being dramatic with the “never/impossible” tho
Now, the real stats only the devs have it (do they ? haha). If the stats say that Germany wins 80% of the time they aren’t going to make the objectives longer to cap just to please 3 people complaining on the forum

I just gave up trying to play Germany Berlin. Been playing as Russia lately, going on 9, 10, 12 game winning streaks. Really wish they’d balance this campaign.
