They need to drop the Bar 1918 into BR 2. Hard to run a low BR Marine loadout when you can’t even bring an American MG.
And they could have just added a 20 round mag 1928A1 Thompson for BR 2 instead of dropping the M1A1 down.

And u.s. really needs good fighters with large bombs then. Also the m8 rocket sycks now. P38 isnt special for ground attacks right now. Germany has much better options as it is

It’s not that strong. 5 man squad, no radio man, not full tommy gun damage. Only thing special is the velocity. And it’s not even that great in comparison to axis
For ground attack? The potez has 2 of the strongest bombs in game. IAR with its 3 bombs, 1 being larger and combined with it’s flying traits and 20mm cannons it’s all around better than u.s. planes. Germans get quite large bombs on their low tier planes. Before hurricane buff the main u.s. bomb load was 100lbers. The smallest in game
Potrez has no good armament ,IAR is a fighter similar to P-40 now they gonna be at the same BR so what Ground attacker on the level of P-38 Axis or Japan has ? No only US has Ground attacker that is better then a fighter thats why im Running one fighter P-38 and one ground attacker P-38 xD

While it’s superior to literally every german SMG at BR2 and BR3 with only exception being MP-41(r). Oh the cope about 5 man squad, while it’s a 6 man squad and also have AT gunner. I don’t use radioman as they are close to useless on most maps. I would gladly take 6 man with 5x overpowered guns + some rifleman than 7 man squad with 4 crappy smgs and 3 weak rifles.
Yesterday, we were still recommending new players to play the German faction at BR2 and praising the power of the 3N. At the same time, we received a new announcement of changes. How dramatic! We immediately changed our tune and recommended that new players switch to playing the Soviet faction.

Doesn’t matter. The topic was ground attack. And the potez does that exceptionally well. The p40? You mean the plane with 2 100lb bombs compared to IAR with 2 60kg bombs and 1 250kg (stronger than 500lb)? Not to mention p40 has worse flying traits
Well US has better ground attackers AP-1 and SDB are better then all German Ground attackers and P-38 is better then all since no ground attacker of its BR is comparable to it you can kill every BR II ground attacker with it and equip a fighter plane like another P-38 xD
Compare the P-38 in performance with USSR,German or Japanese ground attackers its miles better … 600+ km/h vs 400+ km/h … xD
Yes the ap1 is a welcomed and much needed change. The IAR is still better than the p38 in my opinion. The m8 rockets really are terrible currently after they’ve been nerfed a few times over. They can no longer pen and destroy tanks at all. Dauntless sucks but the only reason i didn’t mention it is because germany also a 500kg bomb stuka in br2. I’m pretty sure there is another br2 stuka as well with a good payload.
There is 3 stukas all are with worse payload the Dauntless but thats not a problem since they are very comparable planes then you have something like the P-38 that is a fighter plane in the ground attacker category that have many exploits do to this fact. If you are a fighter and you are shot down you can immediately spawn a ground attacker P-38 and intercept your attacker or in a dog fights 2 vs 2 the US faction will win since they have 2 fighters vs 1 fighter and 1 ground attacker.
I don’t care much about br changes, I feel like every 6-8 month one faction somehow gets nerfed by giving others something good or doing some changes so its germans turn now to suffer for a while, but I would like to see new Stug for Br 2 to make up for pz3n and finding a excuse for “fully infantry support role”
