You will have to spend so much appearance orders to remove their default Volkssturm outfit with their armbands for Moscow/Rzhev Normandy and Tunisia. It’s so annoying.

Ah damn, that’s a shame, so it’s the same as the lebel squad basically. Loved that squad but barely used it since the merge, just costs way too many orders to justify changing the uniforms of an entire 9 man squad for almost every single campaign (they don’t even come with the winter coats for winter maps).
Was hoping to make a pseudo Gebirgsjager premium squad with the guerillas (since I could equip them with the Gewehr 33/40 as secondary), but based on all the feedback I may just pass on them and get smthn else instead.

If they are so lazy at least they should take it out as game always need to load that armband to the memory

You can make your own for every campaign except for Normandy/Tunisia.

What I don’t understand to this very day is why they picked VS theme for BR2 premium squad.
You will literally never get berlin with BR2. Just pure incopetence.

Thanks both of you for taking the time to post so many pics! Genuinely a huge help seeing the default uniforms, as well as the options and possibilities for the squad. More than I hoped for when I originally made my post, so really thank you guys.
@Adamnpee man nice work with the squad, I like what you’ve done with them, especially within the limits of customization you’ve brought up. Always appreciate a “cool hat for squad leader” when I see it in game. Honestly if it wasn’t for the customization limits on Normandy and Tunisia your pics would’ve swayed me to getting the squad.
@Dregomz I agree, I kinda hate the armband whenever any squad has them. I just prefer all my troops being outfitted as Wehrmacht. Even tho they look cool, I’m not even into any of the SS camo uniforms (no political reason or anything, I’m just more into the history of Wehrmacht units). The armbands always ruin otherwise perfectly fine uniforms for me, and it doesn’t help that torso changes cost the most too. Didn’t know it could impact performance (no matter how small, still not ideal).

fr lol, makes no sense. Lebel squad I can excuse coz it’s pre-merge, but doing it for a new squad is just odd.

They are most meme friendly squad you can have for Germany
And a good reason for DF to give us free bunch of customizable orders with each premium squad purchase and maybe even premium time (give us 200 of them each month when you have premium active) so we could actually change their torso as it’s way too expensive.

Def +1 on your idea too, every prem squad getting free customization would be such an easy way to give them extra value. I do like the BP giving so many, but they can go by pretty quick.
I also wish they wouldn’t limit some wearables to only certain squads. There’s a bunch of cool stuff in game that are kinda wasted coz most squads can’t use them (fallschirmjager helmets and uniforms, a lot of British uniform options, etc).

Well now I have to pay silver to get my VS bands, that I bought the squad in the first place for, back. And I can’t get them over coats anymore.

This was not a customization option. They’ve just removed it from outfits in campaigns where these armbands have no business being featured. They did not removed the outfits (customization option).
The only reason you’d want to have these VS armband in all campaigns is to deliberately annoy people who care about immersion.

A default customization option is still a customization option.
They removed it after I paid for it, and now there are fewer options with Volkssturm bands.

It wasn’t. It’s the outfit the lead guy is wearing. They just made it purchasable for other guys.
And I don’t want it to be removed. I just want VS armband to be fixed like on other outfits - meaning only present in Berlin campaign preset.
