In game file “15 round” version is still using 30 round mag model for some reason (probably due lazy animation we see in the trailer). But then once it’s attached it changes into smaller mag while wonky animation of 30 round mag still stays despite mag being much smaller.
Ppl here indeed don’t have memories, or are insane and keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again.
I’m pretty sure what I wrote with my meme will happen, ppl who asked this will be upset (except sov mains) and I will probably laugh at everyone…

If only they would buff their unloved child which are SPAAs. They never listen to my suggestion of giving them separate slot so we could spawn them and hunt planes. You have to use tank slot and automatically lose the match. You could be trolling your team with a friend to spawn two SPAAs and never leave your spawn for rest of the match.

Here’s my two cents on it: The 5000 point requirement is great. Well…unless you capture the areas immediately and you walk away with 500 points. Which leads me to the gamemode. It’s atrocius. Heavily favors the defenders, in this case, the Axis, given how they’re just two small bridges. That’s it. No follow-up to capture other stuff in town, etc. It’s the same map, same gamemode. The weapons for the squads are…nothing crazy. This gamemode feels like bashing your head against the wall, but for less time, because of the 5000 XP requirement. If the army choice wouldn’t be random, after a few matches even the Allies mains would play the Axis.
I hope they do because it’s funny as hell considering that they’re literally back after the original squad got removed.
It should be a new map with bridges like on Russian maps like River Crossing…
Of course, the Allies could get tanks after unlocking certain objectives, since this was a combined operation of airborne and ground forces. That way it would still feel realistic — reinforcements arriving only after securing key positions. For example, the Allies could be tasked with capturing several sectors of the bridge, while the paratroopers land behind enemy lines.
They didn’t have to show the famous “one bridge too far” right away — it could have been just the initial phases of the operation. They could have reused the existing map and let players imagine Arnhem themselves.
If the goal was to show the hopelessness of the Allied situation, then the focus should have been on the defensive phase — paratroopers landing, taking control of the bridge area, mining it, and holding it with whatever they had. That would reflect the historical reality of how they got cut off and had to fight desperately.
I want to praise the beginning of the battle — seeing dozens of bombers flying over looks fantastic and really sets the atmosphere. But it’s still not enough, and to be honest, optimization could have been handled much better.
So overall, the idea for this game mode feels underdeveloped — there’s potential, but it needs more thought to balance gameplay compromises with historical context.

Finally after years and years, “gameplay event” is not moon, zombies, walkers, halloween or other insane BS.
Finally it’s something WW2 themed, which is good.
I would say the gameplay is kind of repetitive and gets stale fast, but I enjoyed trying different strats (only Germany defence so far) and cloised the 5000 threshhold within 2 matches.
More WW2 events like this, yes please!
