The RU server is much better at the event than the EU server and the event runs almost without any problems (although the first few days of the event were also problematic). I wonder why this is the case, because it is always the worst servers in the game.

For me the squad we get is a huge letdown because the paratrooper squad does not come equipped like in the event, but all 6 soldiers have the exact same “M1A1 Paratrooper Thompson” AND worse one can not even switch it out (would have wanted to give them at least one or two M1 Carbines, some M1 Garands and one bolt action Springfield).

I really expected this squad to have the same cool weapon assortment like they carried in the event and not just that same SMG… - (I hate SMG only squads) - …can we at least enable people customizing their loadout so we can switch guns?

I wish the Paratrooper squad’s soldiers came unperked. I have to spend a fortune just to remove the unnecessary perks. I don’t even have enough money for that! LOL

The lag is quite nostalgic in a way, reminds me of the old CoD3/BF2 days where broadband was 1 Meg and it was 6 steps forward and 4 steps back every few seconds.

This event was in truth fun.
THAT IS IF it weren’t for those potato servers completely unable to whistand it. Trying to shoot with bolties was truly painful with all that lag, delays, stuttering…

Both new squad and new weapon should have been featured in the mission. Limiting to 1 squad per faction wouldnt have upset balance much. JP Tiger in that mission was a good idea to let players test the unit.

Tbh, yeah the event was quite nice and original for the first few days. However mentioned by many, the server were struggling …
I would aslo add the folliwing point : for the last 3 days, many people tried to find a way to grind the event without really playing the event as intended :
- I saw many allied player paradrop in their grey zone to spam the mortar as much as possible
- I saw many german players build AA guns deep in their grey zone to score effortlessly by shooting down AI planes
Honestly, these two made the experience tedious for the last days. And I don’t think I will ever played the event any more as I already got all the rewards.

Well, tbf they kinda do the job of AA even though these AI planes are useless beyond killing our frames.

I know, what I am saying is that these player did not really played the game. Destroying these planed is not helpfull.
So, when I am playing germany half my team is missing (ie camping AA guns), making defending the points a hustle.
Hm Lucky bastard because I face those (as Allies ofc) who also shoot down my para planes when there isnt enough cannon fodder.

Honestly, I disagree. This is essentially turning into the same Halloween and the April events, and as you probably remember, players were against locking some weapons behind a paywall. Events should be free!
