actually no, it’s still as strict, now it reviews each game to determine if it can or not in order for those symbols to appear they have to represent the axis powers as evil and a story mode that reflects on why the axis was bad

Yes that’s exactly my point, it is not as strict anymore because it is no longer a ‘total ban’ video games now follow the same procedure that films do in country and can use those symbols if given the green light

Probably not? I’m not saying this game could get the green light, tbh I doubt anyone ever even tried, all I’m saying is that they have the option to do so if desired
However this still begs my original question if this restriction applies outside of Germany
Ok I mean I get that… but I do also think that might be a little dramatic 
It would imply having 3 versions of the game, a German one, a global one and a Chinese one (the Chinese version has more content than ours)

However tho on this note it’s actually not as difficult as it may sound a good number of games actually have different visual presets for the country where they’re being sold.

Joke aside, Is sufficient to check the harmony mode, censor all emblem of all faction leaving outiside of this the soviet union, those guy dont care about law, but simply for them all symbol wo are part of the axis to the ww2 need be censored ASAP!

You can notice this seeyng italy flag in the game, the kingdom flag is censored and replaced by the modern flag
Even the kingdom if italy FLAG is to much and need be censored

And this can be used from the luncher selecting the version you want, is a simply symbol reskin dont to much work
In a broader way it’s a symbol of state’s power (it often appears on state buildings in some countries), and it was used by fascists for that reason.
