Why don’t you try playing br2? It’s a bit better… you might meet br3 things sure, but br2 Soviets is already so powerful there’s less of a gap than br1 facing br2.

By equipment strength I mean not BR, but calculating weapon/gun/bomb/grenade fire power or damage destruction factor. I know that Stuka is BR2 alright? But matchmaking doesn’t care about ES, only about BR. I hope you got it now
Dude, I’m not chasing stats, I didn’t said I play for stats, but it matters to me the cause of wether I win or lose, because how it feels to you to do your best and you still lose to something unusual

doing cool things is fun but i enjoy a good long back and forth more than i care about who wins in the end. id rather have a challenging fight then both sides lob shots across the map, while one team steam rolls the other even if i am behind the wheel.

Not really because equipment strenght is weird term that appears to be based on subjective terms while BR at least has solid number.
Because in my equipment strenght, the Stuka is one of the worst planes in-game in terms of speed, armor, agility (beyond dive-bombing) and firepower against planes saved for the 20mm variant. Even the 500kg is not that great, I killed way more people with the Stuka B2 back in Moscow than with the R2 since it has more bombs. You can kill all BR1 tanks with 50kg bombs anyways.
But I guess, in your case, any plane is superior to your equipment since your engineer squad most likely did not unlock AA gun yet and you do not have a (fighter) plane squad. Ditch the bike and get Gunner or AT Squad since the should have no issues dealing with BR1-2 planes with their main guns, the buildable HMG and using PTRD/S for good old HnG-style-AAing.

I get that the Stuka sucks in dogfights and has weaknesses. But when I’m BR1 with no AA gun, no fighter plane, and limited anti-air options, a 500kg bomb that deletes everything in a massive radius feels broken.
I’m not saying it’s the best plane overall, I’m saying the matchmaking putting that level of destructive power against players with zero effective counters is frustrating. It’s not about the plane being good, it’s about the power gap being unfair. I’m focusing on raw destructive power.
You can build AA with engineer squad or use planes to shoot down him

Technically, BR1 allows the use of AA guns, you just need to unlock it, fighter planes are also early unlock so at the end it is your decision as F2P if you wanna go air or ground and in most cases, 250kg would have killed you as well. I mean, in the first SS, your tank appeared to be right in front of the bomb.
And at the end, Enlisted technically is a multiplayer game and at least one guy should be able to build a AA gun or queue as plane or another SU player being BR2 player.
Current BRs are (mostly) designed to deal with upper BRs. In your case, you just didnt unlock enough stuff yet and first games were bait games where they let you queue against useless and undergeated bots.
Against planes, BR1 has more than enough, which just needs to be unlocked. That being said, Engineer I squad should definitly come with some unlocks in form of AA and AT gun.
If we talk about raw power, T-60 has automatic cannons and US and Japan starter tanks are literal SPAA vehicles so that raw power alone should be enough to deal with a paper plane.
That or grinding Engineer I to build AA guns or switch tank with Fighter Pilot squad.
You’re being dismissive and moving the goalposts. Every time I explain the problem, you shift to a new excuse:
- Me: ‘New players can’t counter this’ → You: ‘Just unlock counters’ (which proves my point - we DON’T have them yet)
- Me: ‘The power gap is frustrating’ → You: ‘Your teammate should handle it’ (so now it’s my team’s fault?)
- Me: ‘BR1 vs BR2 feels unbalanced’ → You: ‘Well technically you could shoot it with a tank gun’ (unrealistic advice for new players)
- Me: ‘This is my experience’ → You: ‘Those were just bot games anyway’ (dismissing my actual gameplay)
You’re essentially saying ‘git gud’ and ‘just grind more’ while pretending you’re giving helpful advice. The core issue is simple: matchmaking puts new players against equipment they can’t effectively counter until they grind. That’s bad new player experience, period.
And calling the Stuka ‘one of the worst planes in-game’ when it dominates against BR1 players is just arguing semantics. I don’t care if it loses dogfights to BR5 jets - it deletes BR1 squads with zero counterplay available to new players.
Stop telling me what I ‘should’ have unlocked and acknowledge the actual problem: early matchmaking creates frustrating power gaps.
Plus, you’re certainly grinding on those newbies with your Stuka 500 kg bomb, that’s why you reject to prove me right, because you like it.
When I play BR1, I rarely get in matches against a bunch of noobs, and rank doesn’t really mean much, it that just means a player has been playing enough to climb the ranks, but it’s not an indication of how good a player is. You only get rank raises by winning in the general game mode, but a lot of players play custom matches where you get no rank raise or decline.
BTW, I think your only supposed to have one Enlisted account, so If I were you I would keep that on the low down.
Go play call of duty if you aren’t ready for multiple types of combat and ways of dealing with them and alternatively realizing you can’t… that’s a good thing abt battlefield i suppose is that you can just put engi and destroy tanks but its just how this game is.
