Hey everyone, why did the FW-190 A-8 change its undercarriage?
Last time I noticed this item was not visible? Can it please be removed, it is giving me pain and suffering. (Please).

This is an ammunition rack for carrying small aerial bombs; historical artifacts will, of course, be accurately reproduced.

But if it doesnt carry any I dont think the rack would be needed. I am pretty sure that the rack would be able to be dissasembled as it would just cause needless drag otherwise.

I hope this is a leak hinting that customizable suspended armaments are coming sooner than later.

It’s been there already for at least 4 days but nobody tells us why…
I would assume this bomb rack did not appear by itself…something must be coming…

FW-190 A-8 doesn’t carry small aerial bombs? No, that’s not historically accurate for World War II. Unless the Enlisted configuration was never designed to carry small aerial bombs, it would only be able to use cannons or machine guns.

I never denied the fact that the FW 190 could carry bombs. But what I said is that it is stupid for a plane to carry an empty rack without bombs.
If you carry such a rack you only add needless weight and epecially drag which degrades performance and raises fuel consumption. Both of which would be the last thing german high command would want for a fighter when it is deployed.
So just adding an empty rack is just stupid.

Then you should start a new suggestion thread, attach historical photos of the FW-190 A-8 fighter jet to prove that the frame you mentioned is unnecessary, and then get the official team to adopt your correct modification suggestion.
If so that would make sense and I would love that. Other than that, I think it’s silly they added it without true reason or context.

I’m personally the person that I love the bigger cannons 30 mm and above. I’m not a fan of bombs or rockets.
Regardless, that would be awesome to optimize all the aircraft as well as tanks with different munitions.
