Finally well done

now after the last update, I feel the game developers have done a pretty good job in giving us a unique ww2 game that is absolutely different from any of its adversary yet to come

–the AI mechanics needs a lot of work but you set the base very well for the further work needed to be done and they really need to make them understand what is a cover but you will get there

–the weapons set the very awesome and different and attention to details of the weapons is magnificent especially ( Pre-war Kar98K & Winchester 1895)
although the balancing in the game is weird but I think it’s fair
like the Germans have the MG 13 but the soviets have the SVT-38 the don’t balance each class with its rival but the balance the game because the game is depending on the principle of the squad so maybe the germans have better machine gunner but the soviets have better snipers and the list goes on but my points that we shouldn’t demand the literal balance of the in everything because now things are more interesting a squad full of diverse classes would benefit the player he should only play for his key strengths and there where skill pays off

— but please do something about spamming mortars shell non stop it is really hard to not rage

— and try balancing pistols on each side because they are available to all classes but i think everyone would agree on doing something about the Nagant 1895

It’s only CBT so germans can’t use G41 yet but in OBT, more weapons will come like DP27, tanks, Fedrov, MG-34, Arma EMP, mines…

I definitely agree on that one, that’s why I installed the game. Asymmetrical balance is very hard to implement but when it’s over, it looks much better than symmetrical balance.
Now, in Alphatest we had some sneak-peaks like t-34, Gbr-42, Fedrov avtomat…

I hope Germans will get good AT weapons to defeat russian tanks and we could see some limitations towards rifles like Fedrov avtomat and StG-44 so we won’t see stuff like squads full of these OP rare weapons.

We all complained about that but got no response from devs :disappointed:

This is a known issue

In my opinion, russian pistols should be buffed.
The only usable pistol is the premium Astra 300 which I don’t know if you posses.
Even the superior german pistols are very underperforming and I think all pistols can get a buff (except Astra 300)

Same with progression

I still think the biggest issue this game has is progression.
If it wasn’t this much of a pain, more players would keep playing, leading to more people on both sides for more balanced matches in terms of players+bot filler squads vs players only, which in turn lets us actually balance guns on how they should play.

Ah well there goes skill down the shitter with anti-personel explosives
time to equip 500 mines and cover chokepoints with them

antitank mines are one thing, but antipersonnel mines are gonna be some bullshit if (when) they can’t friendly-fire.

They’re gonna be bullshit either way. Imagine them having a small detonation radius (as we KNOW that’s how they will be implemented as actually touching them with the player’s feet would be very inconsistent, and it’s highly unlikely that the devs would implement that much more complicated system when a simple hitbox would “get the job done”) and you putting them just behind one of those wooden boxes inside of a trench, and layer that 4-5 boxes deep, throughout the entire trench. You can’t disarm the mine, nor can you shoot it from a distance. Will be an absolute shit show.
