Lol, this already change the stuff that you buy. Also, do you notice that the things that you propose is way better than the stuff that the pack originally offers? You only buy the boost for 1 campaign, now you want the boost to work for stuff in 5 campaign(Germany as example, there is currently 5 campaigns that contains Germany)? You are asking for too much, and I see a lot of player like you in the forum. The boosting effect for one campaign will become very little when it expand to 5 campaign, many people will not be happy. Give me a solution that is not exaggerate lol.
It’s not that difficult to understand, that you can’t apply the advantages that were bought in the Stalingrad and the Pacific pack to the next and new progression system? Okay, so they give me back the equivalent in gold coins so that I can spend on something else, for example. If they can’t give me the number of slots and the booster I paid for, plus the level 4 soldiers and all the level 4 weapons (or 5, it depends) then they give me back 2000 gold coins and that’s it. But what this company should not do is unilaterally change the properties of a product that HAS ALREADY CHARGED. Ways to be able to compensate, there are. It’s just wanting to.
Lol, this is what I suggested on top.
There is no way to avoid this. Since Stalingrad campaign will be merge into other campaign. The campaign will no longer exist. Giving any compensation will not change the fact that the properties of the charged product has been change.
I see that at least we agree on something.
I have never said that it can be avoided, it is something logical (at least in what they propose that the new progression system will be), what I do say is that they WILL compensate for unilaterally taking away that advantage. And I’m not asking for more, just compensation for changing the rules of the game on a product that has been offered, with certain characteristics, and that, after having been charged and for whatever reason, those characteristics are changed to the detriment of the buying party (players).
The point I’m trying to convey is that you don’t own anything you buy digitally. Anything that you can’t hold in your hands or download to use completely offline is never truly yours. You are using it at the sole discretion of the provider.
What happens if darkflow just shuts down it’s game servers and ends enlisted. Do you expect them to mail you a check?
They should reimburse anyone who bought something that’s no longer useable in the game because it’s the right thing to do, and it will help retain loyal customers. They have no actual obligation and you have no recourse or rights if they decide not to do that.
Insisting that they must reimburse you isn’t a strong argument when you look at the reality of the situation. Appealing to their humanity and desire to improve player retention and support is a better path.
That’s because you’ve been groomed to believe this due to how certain companies manage their business. The legal system—in certain countries—would disagree. I don’t remember the specific terms from business law, but when there is an “exchange,” (money for merchandise, a service, or something else) and promises are attached to that exchange, the party making those promises must live up to them.
In this case, Gaijin promised (for example) the Stalingrad full access bundle would be active “forever.” Simply because they decided to change the organization of the game (from campaigns to countries) does NOT give them the right to deactivate the powers that came with that squad. Legally, they would have to adapt the squad to the new changes.
In addition, by your definition, forever does NOT mean until the end of time (and I agree, as does legal systems). It means until the game is no longer in existence, just as a person who makes a legal promise is no longer responsible for their promise upon their death. Gaijin knows that nobody is likely to file a lawsuit against them due to the time and costs of doing so; thus, it seems they will break laws in order to further their financial position—which is unfortunately what most companies do these days.
If this is how Gaijin chooses to run their company, the only thing consumers can do is not do business with them—which is what I have decided to do (as others have also stated in the forum). I will continue to play the game, but I will not make any future purchases unless they do the right thing here—which is either a partial refund, or integration of the “powers” of squads that were purchased for money. If they don’t do this, I will never play any other game they develop in the future.
Exactly, and very well explained. I hope that Gaijin lovers make it very clear and stop fucking with illogical and stupid explanations from every point of view.
