Pacific and Stalingrad are the ones I can tolerate at this moment.

Moscow used to be my go-to campaign, but as much as I like its maps, it just doesn’t feel the same due to all the bullshit that both sides got to the point where its the same full auto spam bullshit that some players apparently like so much in Normandy/Berlin should either or both sides get high level players.

Berlin made me hate it because of the playerbase and map design, Normandy because of the playerbase and the setting (I really don’t like Normandy because I feel like it is overused in media). Meanwhile, Tunisia is just eh.

You should try Berlin as Soviet and you will definitely hate the playerbase for stacking a single side so much on that much like Tunisia Axis where people just stack Allies and farm bots there.

Judging from what you said, your next campaigns should be either Tunisia or Pacific. Both use a mix of everything as weaponry, low to mid lvl vehicles and planes, and the terrain is very open just like Moscow.

Be wary Tunisia is a bit strange atm thought. A bit one sided.

Favorite: Pacific Axis (My Japanese army is 2nd to none)

Runner ups: Moscow Allies, Normandy Allies

Not bad: Stalingrad overall

Havent played: Tunisia, Berlin really much, but hasnt clicked for me like other campaigns in terms of interest

The problem in Berlin is that the weapons of both sides have become seriously homogeneous.
For example:
AVT and FG42-2
STG44 and AS44
The experience I get from playing the Soviet Army or the German Army is almost the same. There is not much difference in the operation feel and the gameplay is roughly the same. They even have the same anti-tank weapons.
this is so stupid

Favorite - Moscow: I like map design and weapon in this campaign
Don’t like - Pacific: snipers, they’re everywhere…

Love moscow. Amazing maps that you can get lost in and just an epic period.

Tunisia close second. Just something about war in the desert.

I dont “hate” berlin but its down the bottom. Alot of the maps feel a little too cramped/cluttered or railroad you into places you would prefer to go around.

My favorite is Moscow. I love outdoor maps and snow. I addition there is a lot of bolt action gameplay, snipers are valuable and everything has its place and role. Be it Flametroopers swiping through buildings, AT rifles, mortars, bombers or tanks.

Weapons aren’t making it feel like facerolling CoD or any other modern shooter.

Somehow this is the most immersive campaign for me.

My most hated is Normandy - way too much full auto spam, too much foliage on most maps, some maps are purely one sided and would need a ticket drain rebalanced. Vehicle combat is laughable at times. Somehow I feel like the equipment is more unbalanced than in other campaigns.

Note, I didn’t mention factions or premium squads. Those are subject to your opinion to decide their influence on gameplay.

All the above is written based on my 2+ years exp and all campaigns maxed.

Whadyamean, 0 good plane? Not even talking about the big IL2, that everyone knows how good it is, the Mig can go toe to toe with the bf109, provided one knows how to fly.

Also has my favourite premium planes of all campaigns, one is the I-16 which is a meme plane that turns into a troll one because of how effective it is, the other is the LAG, one of the few canon planes that works vs tanks in the game…

Your lack of faith in comrade Stalin is troubling…

Anyway, preferences.

i like tunisia campaign the most, though i wish there’s more player in it so i can have a more fair match…
i guess i also like moscow? it’s the most balanced campaign mapwise, and have the most healthy amount of players i think.

i fucking hate the berlin campaign. fucking bullshit urban combat, i hate them, i suck at them. i would have hated the stalingrad campaign too if i didn’t have the flame jar flinging battlement thing.

Tunisia is my second most played campaign and one of my favorites. I use an all Italian lineup for some nice variety from all the German hardware. I feel like it could use more and better maps and missions, but that’s true for most campaigns.

a fighter plane is a rocket. If you know what I mean
But for that, it needs bombs. Rockets contain 360 grams of explosives, funny.
I am very glad that you have fun using these planes. But I don’t think the players on the ground are having as much fun. They are the ones winning. Not you. Playing on a tank is 10 times more efficient than using any Soviet aircraft.
Comrade Stalin is worried that the IL-2 does not have a PTAB. anti-tank aircraft bomb.

Il-2 at least is capable of clearing the points in a variety of ways due to a combo of decent rockets and eh but functional bombs, and it can also handle itself decently against most of enemy aircraft. If only Pe-3 was an upgrade in any way… Not sure about later bombers, havent unlocked them yet, but their loadouts don’t seem very promising either.

Pacific is my favorite campaign out of all of them. It’s in a whole different theater and has the potential for adding battles in China, the Philippines, and New Guinea to name a few. I really love the fact they added aircraft carriers to repair and resupply your planes.

I don’t HATE Moscow but it’s my least favored out of all of them. The maps aren’t too bad but I just don’t prefer the slower pace of it all.
