F80 A5 too OP now

yeah atp why even use the likes of ju 88 and b25 when the f80 and me 262 are available

yes, the bombers obviously have bigger payloads but take forever to rearm

Hey enough now. They take my 1000s bomb away i will leave this game. Enough is enough. I brought and paid for the F80 do gaijian has the money to keep the forum open. Just say thank you.

Maybe againts the law and violates other laws. You pay for a item and are expected for that item to remain the same. Its fraud to charge for an item and give a differnet item. Could be a class action lawsuit

Well not exactly game balance is part of every game.

All due respect but that’s just saying ‘Ive never found the bombload problematic because I decided to ignore it’

The bombload is problematic on Jets already, just if was twice as problematic on Meteor and F-80 because, well, that had it twice as big. This amplified the problem of its flying stats but was a problem on its own 100% - it felt/feels extremely unfair to fly those planes and I’m killing infantry so far from the place I’ve bombed I don’t even have to try really hard to be effective

Your entire opinion is rendered useless by the fact you think a BRV plane regardless of class should have no payload… hello???

You do realize that because of that then there will be tank HE spamming on the same level if not worse than the meteor… oh but the plane is suuuuuch a problem.

Congratulations… because the brit 500lb is better against infantry anyway… and technically it makes the performance more of a problem considering you have good anti infantry loadout with even better performance… fighting people sometimes id just drop my bombs and do that a lot with the 262/kikka

Meteor’s CAS capability is not better than Ki-84.
Some people on forum are asking for six 210mm rockets to N1K2. If it succeeds, it will be the strongest CAS fighter against infantry.

I could have used a different choice of words… it’s on par with its anti infantry capabilities.

i think that british bombs suck in general

Once again showing your ability to hyper focus on shit.

huh wdym

It is solely based off the speeds and acceleration/energy retention of the aircrafts. Meteor just gets to delived the payload faster than the Ki-84 Ko despite payload being the same (or even slighly better on the Ki-84)

One begins to wonder… if you don’t like high power planes resupplying quickly so much then why not go to where it isn’t a problem? (BR3-)

I’m sure many players have chosen that solution as it’s easy.

The biggest problem with 500GP is that they are difficult to deal with Ho-Ri, which has 1100 horsepower.
I am trying to find the maximum distance that 500GP can destroy Hori. Honestly, the result is very… worrying.
As long as Hori knows to move when the bomb is thrown at it, it is impossible to destroy Hori.

To deal with one OP thing, the other side needs another OP thing. BR5 always does this, starting from Tiger II (H)(or P47? Although USA in Normandy wasn’t good at that time) and now up to F80A5. I don’t know what the next one will be, and the arms race won’t stop.

But in all seriosness - ignoring the problem is just incredible approach that will make the game experience awful. There are problems and there are solutions. Not to mention that I play all nations so I got to reap the benefits of pre nerf Meteor, F-80 and P-47

I speak about majority of the issues from the delivering perspective rather than the receiving end

Thats the reason why I am not opposed to the Meteor being the best fighter with its 2x500lb bombs

Beforehand the 1000lb bomb was just super easy to use and having it on a fighter that turns better than props and gets to be twice as fast was just insanely overpowered. Now Meteor has actually decently weaker bombload (though its anti infantry capabilities are fine, its anti tank capabilities are weaker compared to other jets), it being the best fighter isnt that much of a stretch. The only stretch is that its still better fighter by a significant margain - it SHOULDN’T be able to outturn prop planes but IT SHOULD remain the best flying jet

Bringing back 1000lb bombload however is just ridicolous and would require INSANE nerfs to its flying stats, making the aircraft feel more like a heavy bomber rather than an actual fighter to be somehow balanced

The only other way to make it balanced would be having 1x1000lb bomb on it and putting it in line with Jabo and Su-9 in terms of the flying stats

With current bombload its fine-ish. Still bit too nimble but at least for how easy it is to fly - the bombings are decently harder

It seems that you are only asking for a replica of the Me262.
I don’t think this is a good idea because the performance of different factions on the ground varies greatly.
For example, Germany and Japanese won’t worry about IS-2 destroying everything, but if Hori or Tiger II get a good shooting position, the consequences for Soviets will be very serious.
The situation of American tanks is slightly better than Soviet, but they are still overwhelmed by Axis.

T20/AVT40(20) are better SF rifles than the FG-42 II and all other weapons are just obsolete in comparison (and its not even like the Germans has great infantry equipment in comparison)

The only thing going on for them is the KT but its easier to dispose of, and planes are a direct counter to tanks anyway

I said it before - having old Meteor is equalivalent to the US losing access to the T20 and get forced to play M2 Carbines as their SF options, or having only M26 Pershing with 16 second reload as their high tier tank option. All that on top of them losing access to the Ofehnrohr. This just makes people miserable
