i do feel like germany “suffers”, not sure if its becuase of an imbalance or if there are too many players that dont know how to play the game properly, i will start logging data. Im almost always 1st or 2nd and i want to say 3/4 games we lose, atleast in the last 2 weeks.

Latest data from Normandy. Any critiques on structure or new datasets to add are welcome.
F2P games generally have a much lower skill average for some reason. To blame one faction struggling more than every other single faction I think is intellectually lazy.
With the way the campaigns are structure you do have to remember the population, especially the closed beta/alpha testers, who have the most experience, migrate, and that can disproportionately effect team balance.
With Berlin, The panzer IV struggles hard af against the starter T34. The playing field levels out decently when panthers are unlocked but for some people grinding all the way up to the panther while getting rocked by T34s constantly can be daunting.
The PPD40 (premium or otherwise) are buzzsaws and IRL soviet submachine guns were known for being quite good. I think introducing the VG1-4 automatic rifle will help level the playing field in that regard.
In general, with how many times I fall through the map, my AI get stuck and the balancing issues, I’d say Berlin is not ready for release yet.
i disagree with
While in most cases i think this would be true, germany in games have alot of issues, alot of people will start the game playing germany since they think it would be the easiest since they learned that Germany always had the cool guns and tanks. This problem happens in war thunder alot, new players will rush the Tigers and panthers and pull regulars players down.
black people are poor because they are stupid
Massive generalizations about a group of people are abhorrent in any other context. Yet it’s okay here? Making sweeping statements based off of anecdotal evidence has universally been considered an intellectually lazy thing to do.
And whether by the magic of cool krupp steel or sheer luck, the average German skill being lower is and will effect the longevity of the game. Whether or not the game mechanics are equipment or balanced or not, if you have 90% of the skilled players stack one side that’s a problem that needs to be address unless the game’s future is meant to be a PVE game.
German mains, whether it’s through sheer incompetence or ignorance of the game mechanics will quit, play less or just swap to the allies.
Not saying I know how to solve it.
and as I said in a previous post

Constantly saying it to dismiss discussion has been done about a billion times now. Horse is dead, please move on.
