Well, 100% historical accurate Japanese forces will be impossible considering game balance and player’s opinions. To be honesty, if Japanese can’t get semi-auto rifles and SMGs, or if they implement Japanese paratrooper squad with Thompson and they get mad:)
By the way, do you know what US documents shows it was captured at Okinawa?
At least, information what I could find in Japan is only that according to Americans it was captured at Okinawa and there’s no details, so I’m interested a bit.
Well I can’t find documents of their capture as the ones that I’m aware that the marines captured ended up getting smuggled back home, meaning that they would not have told any official channels. IIRC, the one that went on auction some years back at RIA was one such gun. I’ll keep looking to see if any ended up in more official hands and thus was documented though.

Japanese S1-100 (7.63mm) had 30 ammo magazine, not 32.
However Japanese Bergmann M1920 (7.63mm MP18/20) had large 50 ammo magazine and they didn’t had others so I hope they bring it.

You are not going to get historical accuracy in enlisted as there are to many complainers over insignia to even try any more.
