@CmdrLevi while it’s most likely not a memory leak it still could very well be. For now what I would recommend is checking ur task manager or whatever ur os equivalent is and go through each major task to see what’s causing it and to see if you can close it or not. This can save a ton of ram esp on windows.
i already checked my computer programs. there is nothing bloat expect window search like…
basic window programs. they use 44% ram.
That unfortunately sounds about right. If ur willing closing anti malware service executable can help but that’s risky.
And that needs to be done through some settings and can be a hassle keeping closed past ur current session
in my picture… you can see ‘검색’ which uses 110mb ram…
it is ‘window search’ basic program can not be deleted.

Yeah I hate how inefficient that is in windows 11 don’t recall it being nearly as bad on 10. The only question now would be to use the launcher instead of steam but I’m assuming ur alr doing that

Oh wait I just remember. If you disabled some of the animations and features on search u can reduce it by nearly 50 percent. My search is currently 69 mb of ram for me

Ok try this: win + r type services.msc find windows search right click and click properties. And set startup type to disabled and click stop then ok.
And reboot your rig…
