Type 89 I-Go -Medium Tank (saw combat at Khalkin Gol)
Type 97 Chi-Ha in tech tree (saw combat at Khalkin Gol)
Type 97 Chi-Ha Kai in tech tree (was made as result of lessons learnt at Khalkin Gol)
Chi-Ha was the 2nd most produced japanese tank of wwii and neither the base version or the kai version are in the main tree…
I don’t think the USSR-Japan front will have anything to do with actual Khalkin Gol (1939) because 90% of the current Soviet tech tree didn’t exist in 1939.
Unless they drastically rework the TT/BRs kind of like this (and I don’t think they ever will):

Same can be said about every other map yet it has never stopped the devs from adding new ones. I still think we will probably get manchuria instead of khalkin gol since it isnt technically ww2 and the devs dont care if 1945 battle goes to low br

There are many inaccuracies and some complete insanities like Su-9 (1946) but it’s not 90% and logic breaking like lend-lease P-40 with M1 Bazooka and captured MP-40 (from whom?) in 1939 KG would be.
I disagree. Every game and every br is just as unhistorical. We have volksturm in low br, british in non british battles, tons of late war gear like m3 greasegun in low br, and high br is full of prototypes. It really wouldnt make any difference if we had ke ni fighting t 70 in khalkin gol when crusaders are in guadalcanal and volksturm in tunisia
Anachronism within WW2 are one thing (weird but still), but getting lend lease from USA before you even entered WW2 or capturing German weapons before you even had a war with Germany just sounds ridiculous
Both scenarios are just as ridiculous and impossible to happen in real life. But it doesnt matter anyways because the devs dont care about such details and will add manchuria/khalkin gol one day
Obviously. It’s not debatable that devs don’t care about WW2.
My point is that “Khalkin Gol” will not have anything to do with Khalkin Gol at all on any BR right from the start, because even BR1-2 bracket is already full of 1941+ and lend-lease stuff.
