Yeah it’s what I meant. Probably should’ve had g43 equivalent in damage… but we’re left with the least accurate semi at full star, with starter tier semi damage.
It’s fantastic in cqb thought. And fun to use. Uniforms are pretty, too. I like the squad, but it’s not for power creep lovers.
Right now? It imho isn’t. You can rather use MGs or even Stgs or berettas.
But it could be good after merge, depends all on BR tho.
Currently it’s just one big NO. It’s extremely frustrating weapon to use.

Indeed, the squad was released wen in moscow was filled with BA and semi-auto was very rare the low ammo count was a balance measure for avoid make the squad p2w imo
Well as you said, it depends on personal usage. I love it in close mid range, as it fits my play style. I use semis while only shooting in a double tap fashion (in close range). It’s faster to down/kill someone shooting like this than with a stg44. And there’s 9 of them.
But again, I don’t like relying only on meta, personally, so fg42II and stg44. Sure I got those too when facing try harders, but I don’t have as much fun with.
It’s like the Lebel squad. Nobody here will ever say it’s meta, or even good. But man is it funny to use!
So… Gerat for fun? Yes. Gerat for efficiency? Hard pass, sadly…

I want to buy premium G41 m squad this sales. I think this weapon should fit my playstyle more.

Oh yeah! I think those have even less recoil than regular g41. They come with special muzzle brakes if I remember well.
They also suffer from Moscow low ammunition count. I hope they will be gifted more, after the war thunder patch.
Yeah, bushes will be extremely annoying after merge. I didn’t mind them until now tho.

Do you know if the hurricane 40mm finally got it’s fix? I avoided it only because it’s AT capability didn’t work… Which was really sad.
I’m a real fan of “canon planes”, probably why the premium LAGG in Moscow is one of my favourite: it works!
Edit: I’ll also acquire pz38(t) and possibly the Soviet BA-11, for maximum laughs, at low BRs

Enlisted resource says it has AP-T rounds, whether they are working or not is something else.
I tend to enjoy taking tanks out with Cannons rather than bombs. I just enjoy it.
But even if it doesnt work, maybe one day we get custom belt or they fix its AP and it should be a fun machine.
IM pretty sure even the bf110 - c6 doesnt work properly against tanks yet (hit and miss). I dont think they have modeled HVAP rounds properly yet because they do not perform like warthunder. In warthunder these demolish tanks from above.
But I just enjoy large caliber planes.
Aparantly the yak-9k comes with AP 45mm rounds. I wonder how that fairs.

Fedorov is another even bigger problem so maybe mg42 early? If only bipods would get fixed and there are a lot of hilly terrains which prevents you from deploying bipod.
Personally I love HEAT. Can even remove KV-1s
deals with t-34 easily enough, but a heavily angled one can be difficult, but still doable.
mg 42 early is very stable and easy to control. (probably the best variant IMO)
Nope, the best is MG45. For one simple reason, it has more ammonution.
Plus it will become artificially rare since it will be removed.
I really like camo for mg42 early guys tho.
Btw mg13 with 75 mag is great squad for Moscow too. Same goes for stuf A. The best looking stug and it has heats too. But small ammo capacity and lack of MG are very annoying.
