Disagree with the medical/ grenade boxes.
They would cause too much harm to tanks and help feed the trolls.
Tanks, at present, are far too easy to kill with the detpacks, even a trooper with 2 or 3 can kill as many tanks. So having someone with a large grenade bag being able to wipe out tanks constantly would be a really negative effect.
Even if you could only reload standard grenades, it would probably go the other way and cause people to not really bother throwing grenades. (Like, when was the last time you equipped and threw a standard grenade)
Med kits, strong nope,
Someone with a decent gun and 4 kits in a large bag can cause enough hassle as is, imagine someone with access to unlimited refills, people would just harass knowing full well there is little to no concequence for their trolling actions, as they can just run back refill and return to the fight. Not needing to wait 2 squad deaths.
you do realize none of the re-fills will be unlimited… i clearly stated that in the Original Post right at the fucking top of the post…
each medical crate will hold 10-15 medkits total meaning people with a large backpack will have to hit the re-fill button 4 times to get 4 medkits and will empty the crate from 10 down to 6 or 15 down to 11… same thing applies to the grenade box… they will run out of re-fills…
It’s more a question of if it would be justifiable in the context of the game where tanks will shit all over them and also planes need to be glass cannons (again)
one HE round even remotely near you and your shit will explode. At least with the current state of the game.
I think it’s a great idea but it 100% would not work right now. You’d spawn and instantly get cat killed from the holy triumvirate of explosive spam. Planes, arty/mortars, tanks
i see your point with the arti/aircraft bomb spam, but to mitigate that they could give light vehicle units their own spawn area just like how to do for tanks on some maps, so people cant just target 1 area and get everyone spawning they will have to chose between multiple spawns and take the chance they might not get any kills
IMO they should change the vehicle cap to 1 light vehicle 1 tank. instead of two tanks. Similar to the 1 fighter 1 bomber cap. Or 1 MG light vehicle, 1 cannon light vehicle and one tank. idk
idk i feel like light vehicles should have their own cap of like 0/3 or 0/4
like light vehicles will be able to outrun tanks so as long as your not in the sights of a tanks cannon you should be able to stay alive in a light vehicle around tanks, meaning you’ll have to pull some close range donuts and use the tanks slow horizontal rotation speed to your advantage to get away without being blown to shit
and its not only the tanks light vehicles will have to worry about, bombers with rockets and troopers with grenade launchers will be a serious threat to light vehicles since they have explosives that damage on contact which will be a lot easier to use on a fast lightly armoured vehicle then on a slow heavily armoured tank
tighter maps like moscow has would actually be a shitload more beneficial for light vehicles then tanks anyways, like for example you’ve got building cover you could park a supply truck behind to create a highly stocked spawn location because the back of the transport truck is filled with supply crates that you and your teammates can grab and place around the map like grenade/mine crates, heavy ammo for cannons, grenade throwers/flame throwers and tank crews, medical crates, building supplies for engineers so they can build more and regular ammo crate
each truck could have a maximum load of like 6 or 8 crates and you could be given the choice of what kind of load you want to have in the back of the truck
unless you buy equipment from an allied nation… as you can see happened with the M16 and M17 MGMCs … they just painted em different and gave them their own insignia.
And then you build another one… I know that the OP said they’d run out… but all you need is an engineer alive and you could probably build enough to last the match.
