It would be really nice if they could fill out the early tier plane set for the Japanese particularly for the Army, Any version of the Oscar particularly one that at least two 12.7 and a couple of 100KILOGRAM bombs would be a very nice addition.
Maybe we could do that as an air start is they never operated off aircraft carriers and we could get the zero to being able to land on an aircraft carrier it’s completely ridiculous that the most famous carrier fighter in history has been removed from carrier operations.
I don’t have a problem with it air starting but the fact that it can’t land on the carriers and rearm and repair is completely ridiculous.
Nah, I’m sick of everyone expecting two 100kg bombs for their br2 fighters meanwhile allies is stuck with only 2 dinky 100lb bombs. If the p51c can get two 250lb bombs then i have no problem with everyone else expecting that payload for the other nations.
you mean 6? M8 is trash, and the fact that you don’t even know how many there are says all. Just because you got wiped by them one time doesn’t mean they perform well. I’ve spent over an hour in the range trying to blow br2 and 3 tanks with them since there’s so many german mains that swear by them. Not only do you have to learn to hit spot on with them when they do hit it doesn’t do anything to the average br2/3 german tank. They used to be good. Maybe you just have PTSD? And yes, when TT br1 and br2 u.s. tanks dont have filler ap rounds (being standard like every other nation), stacked with TT br1 and br2 planes being incredibly bad for CAS is problematic.
Iar has over 800lbs of bomb load with great flying characteristics, and 20mm cannons. The br1 bf109 has over 500lbs of bomb load with 20mm cannons with great flying characteristics.
TT spitfire (20mm cannons with great characteristics) has no bombload. P38 has one singular 20mm, not great characteristics outside of being fast, and sucky m8s. All other fighters only have 200lbs of bombs (a fraction of what germany gets) with only 50 cal guns.
Yak1 has 440 lbs of bomb load, good 20mm cannon, and great flying characteristics. P40 has just shy of 1000lb of bomb load, good enough flying characteristics.
There is no comparison between u.s. planes and GE/RU.
Allies either have to pick between decent bomb load with bad flying characteristics and bad gun armament, or good gun armament with good flying characteristics and no bomb load, or mediocre flying characteristics with shit CAS. There’s not a single TT plane that has everything in br1 and br2 like GE/RU
