i mean thats was best part about explosive packs they do great for clearing out positions but the isssue is Everyone and their mom has them because they do everything perfectly other then kill tanks gotta get the sucker right on top or under a tank because they are so good just have it so that only 2 classes have it thats not a major change it would make pushing points more Easy not capping and explosive in a small area is bad news lol it would make Engineers more usefull ( they still seems to be under used.
i have the german Berlin prem squad with 9 soldiers that ll have explosvie packs if i wanan push a point I MAKE IT RAIN EXPLSOVE PACKS. run in get wounded and then drop the explosvie pack when downed its nuts if there was building destruction could level any building in the game lol
thats the argument let there be a reduction to explosive packs but a introduction to improvised explosive. if you are in a Tank you get swarmed it should be a death sentence for gameplay sake but explosive packs is not the method because the huge Blast zone they more effective at killing infantry but for Tanks there are better alternatives
There is no place for normal grenades in this game.
I just hope they make tnt only avaiable for bombers and engineers and we actually need to plant them on a tank.
There is no point to run normal grenades in this game. Nothing a tnt can’t do better.
There is no reason to play with the bombers squad since all classes can be anti tankers.
At any rate. I strongly advice to do a 9 man squad with grenade launchers and 3 tnt packs per soldier with the grenade trow perk. Much fun. Much reward.
How about just nerfing dynamite’s damage to the infantry. So you want to kill tanks - keep wearing 3 dynamite packs. But if you want to kill infantry take grenades instead. I do hate using these bloody sausages all the time. They break the immersion very much. But the idea about AT grenades is nice as well.
But all classes cant use panzerfaust 100. Sometimes tanks are just too far for tnt.
Would game get more immersive if tnt’s got removed/restricted? Everyone still runs with fg42, people still randomly spawn that ppk 42 squad, squads materialize from radio that engineer build etc…
As i suggested earlier, decrease dynamite’s infantry damage but keep it as effective to tanks. Or, add historical AT grenade is also good solution. In addition, if Darkflow update AT gun movable like they said long time ago, it will help balancing dynamite nerf.
Even if dynamite is the best equalizers right now in this game since tanks are quite OP [of which they should be] (and can still hide in places infantry cant reach to add) especially if there are no one in the game that can match up with the other lvl of tank. I both like this idea and still dont. Sure there are planes but its hard at times to find the tanks since first people are lazy to mark or dont know how to incl its figgety to do at times to get the tank marker even if youre marking straight on it and visualization can be hard if they re concealed so it could result in the matches being more inbalanced if most of one team are new players and the other filled with veterans. But i agree that there is no need for grenades rn when you can pack yourself with dynamite instead. Perhaps making them heavier or lesser throwing distance could work but then you have to open up the ground so tanks cant hide in restricted areas. However i also understand its against spawn campers and next point rushers so to speak so its tricky to deal with
do you think or feel they are OP because most people don’t have AT soldiers? because the moment i got the AT squad Tanks became a non-issue for me. even if i don’t kill the tank right away the 2nd or 3rd RPG the tank is Dead or Crippled
im just talking about the game overall. My first time playing this game i made 200+ kills with a tank, so i would say yes they are easier to rack in points with then all the other classes. Sure that dont happens everytime and even being a tanker takes knowledge of positioning and such, even aiming. But if were looking at the game overall i see that those TNT is needed in a way cause even with AT soldiers they can be hard to get if they are well placed and covered with troops. And even with TNT it doesnt make sure you take out the tank and also the tanker can see that them being thrown if they are not cooked so dont see them as much of an issue if i know infantry is going to cover me (which they usually are bad at but happens xD)
Well yes Tanks in every game you re normally ble to rack up points. but how Effective Explosive packs are as a Weapon I feel is the problem and the fact that Every soldier including pilots can have them is absurd. AT Grenades can still be used as grenades against soldiers but are Less effective Explosive packs are good against emplacements but also good against everything else. There are Trade offs thought the game is still in its infancy AT grenades and AP (frag)grenades should be at the fore-front
I just threw two explosion packs next to an light tank and it was still up with tracks only that got blewn so they are not that OP that one might think. But yeah i can see what you mean that everyone can overly pack them on every soldier but like i said. I understand that point as i understand the overall balance in the game that might need to stay that way. And yes i know you want to throw them on the top but you dont always have that luxury Someone suggested different AT grenades where AT groups gets the better one and infantry the lighter which i think was an splendid idea
Many people including myself have games with zero deaths in a tank. And without grey-zone camping. As long as you know how to play a tank and nobody manages to bomb you properly you are unkillable, especially on T-50s, T-34s and Panthers
