Might normally suggest to use DX11 - but if you have a specific bug report for these with logs attached, do send it to us!
bro is still living in the '90s, AMD has been the better price vs performance for both GPU and CPU for almost 5 years now
Only complaints I see are from AMD owners! lol … they ruthlessly defend their junk
but just keep on buying it and saying how great it is, lol … yea they are cheaper and there is a good reason …
So you understand that this is why developers cannot effectively fix the problem.
Some people are misleading the developers with their subjective opinions, affecting their judgment.
Most players know that the current D12 issue mainly occurs on AMD graphics cards. Especially since the developers have not yet aligned with AMD’s latest drivers. When the “d12” issue occurs on the n card, it is mostly due to driver version, laptop graphics card, graphics card that has mined virtual currency, and other problems.
because it’s a bug only affecting AMD cards after Enlisted added unnecessary raytracing
I will, you really can’t beat 9800X3D + 9070XT combo ![]()
NVIDIA fanboy detected…
i have owned both CPU and GPUs from all 3 companies(well 4 if you include ATI) from 90s. every company had their good and bad stuff for certain period. unless you have unlimited budget, people buy best bang for buck and lots of times AMD gave that option(btw writing this from intel+nvidia setup). in early 2000s ATI(now graphic division under AMD) was notoriously known for bad drivers and this was the case throughout the 2000s and maybe early 2010s. i owned 4850 and 6870 without any major problems, although i have seen some people complaining about them, but i am power user, so that may have made some difference. idk if it was since early 2010s or mid 2010s, but AMD invested heavily in driver development and even had title of most stable drivers for gamers in late 2010s Third-party audit reveals AMD drivers are the most stable for gamers
there was saying “AMD ages like fine wine” cause AMD GPUs got loads of performance in certain games months after cause of driver improvements.
most people who trash AMD now cause of bad drivers are either NVIDIA fanboys or have owned one ATI/AMD card in 2000s and are stuck in that time. only reason to choose NVIDIA over AMD is if you want better ray tracing and DLSS(besides wanting self immolating GPU made of gold like 5090).
THX @ robihr …!
was about to write something similar.
@gator66
Again… no bad blood intended here BUT…

Lets adress the elephant in the room…
The creator of the topic IS using an “superior” NVIDIA Card and get those “GFX-Glitches” (how come ?) -
Our “LokalHero” already stated in his post that this is releated to the Game-Engine itself and can occur when using raytracing.
I guess alot can go wrong when you implement raytracing in a game that otherwise uses baked-lightning (pre-calculated), idk im not a professional coder…
-
You talked about AMDs “bad/inferior” GPUs since the 90s, iirc AMD never did GFX-Cards for the consumer market before they merged/bought-up ATI somwhat around 2005/6
Im not a “Brand XYZ guy” at all, i just look at the “pure-cold-data” and how long it may be still useable in the future when i buy hardware.
But it seems you are a bit “narrow-minded” on this topic and not really “up-to-date” info-wise whats going on in this sector for quite a few years.
Anyways, its all fine and “you-do-you”!
So bottom line: Lets just wait for the fix from the devs and the “world keeps turning”…
btw just want to show this topic that is relevant since raytracing update
2-3 times per every game i get fps drop from 120-150 average fps to 1-10 fps for couple of seconds. this never happened pre raytracing update. also i am not alone in this, 77% of forum users that voted on that topic have some kind of similar gpu problem since that update.
