Current br system is making the whole br4 useless. Like, it can’t fight with anyone else, and br5 weapons are obiously overwhelming to them.
I guess, that they will open more queues once Enlisted opens the “steam valves”.
There will be a looooot more players then, enough to justify more queues.
I suppose we have just 2 for now, to solidify the system before steam.
But that’s just my guess.

Unlike the SVT38 and M1 Garand, the G41 is incredibly cringe to use with the weapon reload time, even with 12% reload speed perk it still slow even you only load 5 rounds to keep shooting, legit switching to my pistol for follow-up weapon just became second nature… at this point I legit consider the VG1-5 a better alternative than that dogshite, even though it should be a BR2 weapon and not very accurate weapon

Not to mention making the SVT 38 1-2 would also make it a bit more historical. The 38 was the predecessor of the 40 and saw service in the Winter War before being replaced.
At least if it’s 1-2 it will ideally appear in its closest period early war
The matchmaking should probably have at least three queues: BR I-II, BR III-IV, and BR V on its own.
In fact, I think it would be useful to have a system where you could have two squads (half of a free to play user’s slots, in consideration of them) of the next BR tier up without getting matched into that tier.
For example, out of six squads one could have one BR III squad, three BR IV squads, and two BR V squads, and still be matched into the III-IV queue. It wouldn’t be until they added a third BR V squad that they would be placed in the BR V queue.
For obvious reasons, this logic would not apply to tanker squads: the addition of, in the example, a BR V tank would immediately result in being placed in the BR V queue, regardless of the accompanying mix of infantry squads.
The sooner 3rd MM queue gets added the better.
Before too long BR 2 will turn into what was BR 3.

Gewehr41 was my first semi-auto unlock.
Great weapon in its category, the only downside is reload speed.
G41 was my primary weapon of choice in Moscow, Stalingrad and Tunisia and never bothered with ZH-29 because enough practice can turn G41 into a beast.
Or at least that was the case before the merge, didn’t play much with G41 because I didn’t wanted to get uptiered to BRV deathstacks (knowing my luck, it would 100% happen)
ZH 29 is better than G41 with the reload but the recoil is tad too jumpy, and yet I will skip both for VG1-5 and G43… or just go straight FG42 II in high BR

and the default bolt gun is perfectly competitive and even superior is some ways to BR 5 weapons
