Tbh I thought: at least one more realistic mode.
The good thing about LW going realistic imo is that there is room for players who dislike the run and gun style of squads.

Well LW was fun as it was, required little bit tweaking here and there as it had same amount of spam as squad.
If I want to play realistic games theres by far better options for that.

If the Enemy has Better Tanks you shouldnt be using said Tank Slot. Its your own fault honestly for making your team lost when there are better players with Jumbo like Me

Thirdly these F2P i bet they wont even contribute to Revenue like we do. So its best to ignores the Pleas of F2P. they dont even learn how to play, complain all the time. They dont even support the game

Inb4 paid up whale who no-lifes the game disagrees in a passive-aggressive manner and says that the grind in the game is easy-peasy and you should just get premium and E coins and do super well each game for hours on end each day.

Nevertheless, as a newcomer i HAVE to use what i get. If newcomers are simply restricted to play the game (like you just said), guess what newcomers will do? Guess what happens if one team is only filled with trash equipment and other team not? Sadly you just cant even imagine this and it doesnt even require too much effort.

Besides that, i do know what flanking means. I have already been facing a stuart facing me, but if you are THIS BAD to lose to a stuart flanking you, while the only thing you have to do is turning into its direction and oneshot him, it implies you just dont want to understand the problem here? If we add the truly … meh? damage model, which is worse than what they have in warthunder (e.g. pen a t-34 in the middle of front hull with 75mm and watch his crew not dying / getting dmgd properly) while in WT its a guaranteed OSK, ok.

yeah campaign grind needs to be reduced, maybe some kind of boost when playing with the side that has lower level ( allies lvl 15, germans lvl 10 = get a boost with germans untill you catch up)

Same thing with overall campaigns. i can handle the grind, i grew up playing games where you have to grind a lot.
But currently i am playing with my friends, who are a lot more casual, its really hard to convince them to try different campaigns as time goes on cause of “lost” progress.

Nah i rather tend to more realistic shooters like squad / hll / ps (or this game with some adjustments), because CSGO is another heartbreak-attack game i dont need, there are more types of truly bad shooters out there.

Besides that: its realistic if people have the same equipment, since an army does not want to field thousands of different guns to one division. Why? Think about it. I give you some advices: ammo types, mass-production (just to name two).
Same applies to vehicles since maintaining X (large number) different types of vehicles is much more complicated. Mass production is also important.

And another point: MMO doesnt exclude what i mentioned. So you might better refresh your knowledge about the definition of an MMO, because to name an example: WW II online. Thats an MMO by definition and everybody uses the same weapons :slight_smile:

I felt the same way at the beggining but I actually feel that nowadays the game is pretty balanced, I just unlocked the bomber squad (not the planes, the infantry) and i´ve been nuking the sh*t out of those panzer 3 and 4, it´s just learning where is the weak point of each tank, going to the practice range and… PRACTICE. also learning which role is each tank suited for, the stuart it´s to support your infantry and to be used againts Infantry, I do think they should nerf the german tanks armor a bit tho, bc Explosive packs take them out regardless of their armor and that way they could balance more tank vs tank fights. Personally I DON´T enjoy tank gameplay in this game (at least playing as the allies on normandy) but maybe it´s because I´m so damn bad at tanking. some maps like D- Day are just so unfair sometimes, the tanls just sit uphill nuking infantry and tanks across the map… but if you play with your covers and focus on respawnpoints and the objective you can win, it can be frustrating tho…

Ah perfect. Just asking you: what types of games have been developed before those F2P-games (and you better call them FREEMIUM-games)? Yes games which a) give you full content and b) dont keep you away from content just because of time / money. They worked perfectly. Im even fine by paying some bucks per month if i get a) good gameplay and b) content. But those fremium games are the worst fucking shit on earth. Theyre simply based on people either being addictive to paying, or on peoples disadvantages like missing time. Additional to that it attracts people actually saying they would “keep those games alive” and “prevent games like these from dying” just to not feel bad, because they actually finance a system which is just nothing else but exploitation.

Think about it and im sure you will understand it if hope is not lost yet

Stuart against infantry? It HE does not deal any dmg and the other weapon is your MG. Besides that, if you support infantry you can bet the enemy tank is doing the same. In that moment you WILL face the enemy tank and if this tanker is not dumb he will oneshot you out of the game (if its not a puma using the 50mm). Besides that: yes its about learning weak spots to get through, but the fact that stuarts ammo-type is AP (without any HE filler) and spalling is POORLY modeled in this game renders the stuart quite much useless against tanks. In WT you oneshot a puma through the drivers port, since that AP shell will kill all the crew. In this game, it kills the driver, or vaníshes, or WOUNDS the driver. The puma on the other end recieves an APHE. In case you dont know what APHE is: do some research.

Tank gameplay itself is horrible. People ask you to flank, if the enemy is not dumb you get marked / sapped by enemy infantry, since youre going without your infantry, since we are forcing people to learn how to play. If you nerf explosives, you are further promoting more unbalanced situations.

To the bomber squad: most times i faced a bomber squad i just erased it by putting a 75mm HE shell near the guy. Assuming i gave him the chance of getting closer → not watching my infantry.

I mean, if it stays how it is, so that you get your semi auto rifles, MGs, AT weapons, good tanks and all the powerful stuff at about level 20-30, then I would say a “lvl 50” would be a good thing, as long as there is not a too crazy powercreep.

Like, if the stuff that we unlock at lvl 40 is a different type of equipment, which is still comparable to what we already have, I would really like the “grind” cuz it gives us endgame goals.

I just rly hope we dont see some rly OP shit at max lvl

what does need to change is giving every player access to the important tools from the word go or the first 3-4 levels at least

what are the important tools?

explosive packs
man portable AT weapons
and depending on game balancing semi auto rifles

you give everyone that and everyone can contribute on a even playing field from a equipment point of view

vehicles require their own discussion that’s hard to have until they actually function properly with selectable ammo and proper damage models
