Dont let new players enter with only 1 br 5 gun or vehicle into br 5 matches

if something we can all agree is that is very annoying to get bozos with only 1-2 br 5 weapons and then only bolt actions i suggest dont allowing them to get into br 5 until they get at least 1 squad (event doesnt counts) fully equiped with br 5 stuff

and if in case you think this is too extreme maybe a warning could decrease this case of new players on the wrong br

  • do not let them play br 5 until they get a squad with br 5
  • i rather preffer to give an advice instead
  • disagree with the suggestion (explain why)

side note: even tho you have the warning or the prohibition it wont allow the player to enter a match until the BR 5 requirements are checked or change the weapon to be more suitable for lower brs

I agree. I think it would be better if players couldn’t join BR matches unless they’ve already unlocked the corresponding vehicles/equipment in that research tree. It would be a win-win for everyone.

it will be ignored, like they did with my post time ago: BR Warning for Players

How would it be stopped? Lets say a dude has two BR5 weapons and all of his squads have BR1 weapons. So he adds his two BR5 weapons which automatically puts him into a BR5 game. So, lets say their is a mechanism that now prevents him from entering that BR5 game, is he now going to be playing in BR1 with two BR5 weapons?

There would have to be a mechanism in place that prevents higher rated weapons from being used unless a certain % of your squads are equipped with that higher level of weapons. In that case, a BR1 equipped player would not even be allowed to use any of his BR5 weapons until he can equip a certain % of his squads…Which makes sense.

It should just be a warning. As someone who enjoys Historical loadouts, I often bring Kar98ks and Garands into BR5 (in the rare event that I play it) I think it is unfair to force players to use certain gear to play a match. A warning would be nice tho.

First, they should be warned, then informed that if they lose three consecutive Tier 5 matches, they will be banned from participating in Tier 5 matches. This will prevent too many new players from using advanced weapons in campaigns unsuitable for them.

Why should they be punished just for loosing? A person with all BR1 gear except for one or two BRV items can still perform well and should not arbitrarily be punished for loosing a match in a team based game

Players who only unlock a handful of high BR vehicles while falling far behind in overall tech tree progression do more harm to the game environment than AI bots. Such accounts are often used merely to farm points, much like bringing a single high-BR vehicle into battle with insufficient loadouts, which severely ruins the gaming experience. It is suggested to add a matching reminder system: if a team lacks fully equipped vehicles for the corresponding BR tier, or a player only owns a few high-tier units such as BR5 and S4 equipment with severely incomplete tech tree research, the system will issue a warning. This prompt will advise players to proceed with caution. The measure preserves players’ freedom of choice while improving the overall gameplay environment.

Okay, but would that mean the player could join br1 matches with a br 5 gun?

Or the gun he took time to grind would effectively prevent him entirely from joining ANY match when equipped??? Where would that player end up when clicking squad match?

Your suggestion is too unclear… And would potentially lead to exploits if not fleshed out properly. (imagine the carnage one could make with an assault rifle in br1?)

no it wont allow the player at will still give the warning and things like that

i edited the suggestion to clarify this:

even tho you have the warning or the prohibition it wont allow the player to enter a match until the BR 5 requirements are checked or change the weapon to be more suitable for lower brs

It should be restricted by the amount of weaponry you have unlocked at each researched tier in the tech tree. For example, if the player doesn’t have at least 6-7 Tier 5 weapons unlocked, then they shouldn’t be able to play BR V.

Japan casually unable to play BRV
