actually, riles should be “overall more effective than smgs”, that way smgs would only be a cqc weapon- which would fit medics pretty well.
Semi auto rifles are just kinda bad, and bolt actions are trash.
A, the MP43 IS THE STG44. B, how would a medic get an stg44 in a campaign without the stg44
In Stalingrad they will replace assaulter 1 on low level, so it is fair deal to a certain degree (until you get to unlock assaulter 1 squad that is, which would result into 5 assaulters in squad).
However, this must not also apply for the rest of the campaigns… Medics anywhere else should not get anything stronger than semi-auto rifle.

that is still a problem, in all other campaigns and the next level of stalingard now the meta will be 5 assaulter 1 gunner and 1 engineer.
basically all full auto except the engineer (m2 carabone excluded), if before enlisted was run n gun with nothing of tactic with the new update it will transform in an arena type of game with tanks planes and an objective.
