Select fire rifles should only be useable in auto mode in close combat, otherwise kills should be extremely ammo inneficient due to massive recoil.
This also means default semi auto on.

When it comes to the original fg42 i didint mentioned it cuz i think that if br 6 exists the worst or underperforming sf should be there AVS 36 AVT40(15) FG42 M2 carabine and if not wrong that other japanese copypaste of the M2 because it brings these bad rifles to life and due these being less powerfull 9 man wont be so strong there allowing ARs to actually do their job
And now for top rifles the ones i mentioned should go to BR6 and bla bla bla

I personally don’t have a problem with BR5 being overpowered by assault rifles. I would personally leave it as it is, and ISOLATE BR5 to it’s own stand alone battle level.

Then the us needs a new br5 select fire the m2 is not, not comparable to the krieghoff or the fg42 that’s my point yes there the crap I if the fg42 is br5 the m2 is br4
The m1 carbine fits at br2 the mp507 fits at br 3 the m2 fits at br4. Puting the m2 at br5 without the t20 is like putting the mo507 at br4. The m2 is a non choice without the t20 to go against the fg42.

The problem is that the game gives SF Rifles to Rifleman who you can have 9 of in a single squad, promoting their supremacy. Additionally SF Rifles are very boring and are essentially brain rot weapons, they all preform the same and take no skill to use.
I personally hate them because I hate using them, they are boring. I don’t think that they need a nerf when a few months ago gaijin gave Submachine Guns about 3X less recoil so now a Submachine Gun can fight back against them at distance.
