Even then there is only one of the two nations that got something really new to offer in each campaign which would make the other one rather boring to play.

I really hope that the testing in normandy of Italian and british weapons means that we will have a re-program of weapons when tunisia campaing launches,I mean the US is lacking in terms of weapons in normandy(m1a1,m1928 thompsons,m1919a4/a5…)
And I´m willing for a pacific campaing or campains that for sure will come in the future.

I would like to see the Italians, but I would also hate to miss our on DAK with the glorious tan Tigers and tropical Bf 109s.
I would also love to see Sino-Japanese front, it’s never depicted in videogames. Battle of Shanghai or Nanjing (without the war crime aspect).
Ruso-Japanese front would be awesome as well: either Khalkhin Gol 1939 or Manchuria 1945.
On the other hand, I disagree with the OP’s sentiment that USSR vs Germany 2 times is a bad thing. USSR did the enormous task of fighting for 4 years straight and eliminatingf some 80% of Germany’s best forces. The Eastern Front is also incredibly underrepresented in video games (it’s always Normandy and Americans saving the world).
So in all honesty I hope this game is 90% Eastern Front, it’s such a breath of fresh air and due respect to the events that really won WW2 for the allies.

I agree completely. Not to mention, for variety, you could throw in a Romanian, Hungarian, and Finn squads to a “German” campaign. Maybe even Slovakia or Bulgaria. If nothing else the different uniforms would be great.
The Allies already have a pretty good variety, but it would be nice to see Canadian, ANZAC, Indian, or South African squads integrated in with the British and Free French forces integrated in with the Americans. Heck, Brazil meaningfully participated and could have a squad or two with the Americans.

Maybe you can go back to the history lessons, I can only give you such advice. And expressions like “bad guys” show your overall understanding and appreciation of the war.

And Italy’s contributions are downplayed by propaganda. Sure, they had serious issues, but they did a lot more effective fighting than given credit by most youtube channels.

Most is not ever true, as under German leadership Italian divisions were more effective. And until Tunis Germans had there like 3 Divisions. Italians much more.
