I’m afraid this voice line is genuine, because there’s a line that sounds extremely awkward in Chinese: “It’s better for you to die than for me to die,” which is likely a copy-paste of the American military’s “Better you than me” or something similar.
(All localized translations in Enlisted are machine-translated, and the voice lines for soldiers from different countries are almost all the same set of dialogue. While the Simplified Chinese localization is done by humans, it’s based on the machine-translated English source text, making the result even worse than machine
But this looks like an unfinished product, something that was simply translated from another language using cheap AI. Bro, you should really check out something better. Real-life female guerrilla fighters behind enemy lines could not possibly be like this.
