While DF cares a lot about player feedback, they still make their own decisions and rarely backdown.
They run their numbers and decide that what next move is most profitable, you can’t really blame them for that, sure BR and customization still sucks, but I seen worse companies that totally disregard player feedback.

If you really want to create something, you should start with something simple alone first.
For example, you could make a video mashup of moments from your gameplay that you think are cool.
If it’s good enough, people will want to participate in your work.
That is a big if, though it would certainly be better than Twitch kids and Major McD.
That works too I guess but I’m not using gameplay for it I’m using things technically from the mod editor or technically customs if people were to start working together.
And if someone gets in contact with me who’s good at making maps and things like that I can give him the ideas.
At any rate, being creative is good.
Many people try to be creative at some point. They may come up with an idea to paint a picture, shoot a video, write a novel, or something else.
But those who can keep their creative selves going for a week may be less than 1% of the total.
Being creative does not necessarily mean that you will be able to produce some masterpiece, but when you become one of the 1% who can keep trying for a week, you will definitely join the ranks of special people.
I’m not looking to make a masterpiece I’m just looking to make something interesting because with all the things we have in the editor we can make a lot of interesting things and it’s much better than what red versus blue had in the beginning.
and if you look at this short you’ll see how many views it has just imagine what it be like if they actually continued from there and added a little bit of conversation and make things a little bit more interesting.
If he’s trying to start something, that’s a good thing.

I’m not doing anything I just made this post so I could see if I can get my hands on anyone to help me with my ideas because if I could have done something I would have done something a long time ago instead of making this post.

I don’t know how old you are, but I’ve seen a lot of teens say things similar to what you And they end up not finding “friends” and creating nothing.
The fact is, if you want people to be interested in your cause, you have to show them how to do something on their own.
Not many people are willing to invest their time when they don’t know how motivated you are or how serious you are.
Btw.The reason Face_Tac’s videos get so many views probably has to do with the fact that he makes videos of various games and there are a good number of people who look forward to his videos.
And videos that seem easy to make are surprisingly difficult and time-consuming when you make them yourself.
Face_Tac has accumulated a lot of time and effort to get where he is today.
If the parrot were to start seriously creating videos, he would surely soon realize how hard the road is.
But if you can create and continue to create content on his own, then you deserves respect.

not sure what sort of " contribution " is really providing doing that other than some sort of entertainment.
too bad even there, in today’s dayonage cinematic videos are vastly underrated because almost no one cares or really watches them.
The day you contribute something to this community that isn’t crying or cringe, is the day hell freezes over or pigs can fly.

fair enough and I was just posing questions and seeing if anyone would bite and see where we could go from there and before I became too serious in this game one of my friends warned me about how unstable the command structure was in this game So overall I never Invested much time into the mod editor so I guess I can’t continue from there.
I know how hard it is and I never expected it to be easy that’s also one reason why I’m using this forum and seeing if I can get anyone to bite but I don’t expect too much from it so I’m not investing too much into it.
