But I couldn’t care less If there was a number of desertion matches on the stats.
To be fair, I ill leave Prety much all conquests/maps that the team is already loosing the first point and I didn’t even connected yet.
My fun over others. I m not wasting my time on a video game to please others/random teamates I will never see again on a lifetime.
If I connect to a batle I don’t want to play I leave. Simply as that.
And to be fair, so far worked wonders since I don’t have a single issue grinding everything on the matches I play.
You tell me people force themselfs to stay on a match they can’t even move beyond spawn to please who? And why? What’s the point to have an inferior game experience because?
besides maps or specific modes, lack of teamates its one of the reasons i find myself out some matches.
gets boring fast to save 9 braindead teamates from a loose
if my team dont play the objective or at least try i go find another game. Not worth spending alot of effort trying to fend of 6 squads all the time no matter how hard you try.
I usually give it 2objectives and see whats up. Sometimes theres great comebacks but i can tell that pretty much from how the team works.
How ever since i want the stats to be true cause im estimating were loosing 3/4 matches in general over here (but there is times we get some good ones and even streaks) the stats wont tell that since i quit so now i have to force myself playing rly shitty games which is a waste of time in my opinion.
I love bloody battles to the teeth but hate non teamwork plays where everyone does things for themselves.
With that said screw that stat and make an register even if you leave if that match got lost or not to the real register even if you quit which i think will take alot of information tanking in the background and not viable now to come to think of it ^^
This and ofc some conquest maps i dont like to play ofc as mentioned above
So why should i have stats on that is my question ?
Late joins especially with the first cap already lost at the start as defender is an instant desertion for me because the stupid matchmaking couldn’t give me a proper start of the match.
I have my own reasons for desertion like if I don’t feel like playing the map or the team is too shitty for me to handle that it’s just a waste of time to play with a brainless team that such players deserved to be punished by my squads when they get ended up on the enemy team on another match.
Desertion is bad. Even if the enemy team is way stronger - this is not a reason to be a pussy and leave. Just give them a good fight, kill as much as possible. Thus you will give a good game to you and your enemies.
What is better - to lose after a decent fight or to win against the team of bots? Every time you consider your team not good enough and leave - you force people from the enemy team to fight against bots. This is just not too polite. And this is obviously not a thing you want other people to do. So just be a good guy and play all the matches, even D-Day.
P.S. Losing the first objective is not a death sentence.
Yeap. At first seconds it drops my morale, but usually we get enemy stopped. In some cases (like tunisian fortress) - on the second or third checkpoint.
Experience in War Thunder made me saw various kinds of players including some of the worst and the most toxic players ever with the usage of scummy tactics, exploits(intentionally using ULQ graphics setting with a strong PC, exploiting bad map design e.g. mountain goating, abusing broken ammunition, etc) alongside stuff like revenge bombing and even not helping their own teammates in battle. There were even cases that players leave early after their first death or they know its a losing match from the very beginning so there’s that.
Sadly there’s a significant number of such players with toxic playstyles to the point that had to respond in kind making the experience more of a dog-eat-dog world than a friendly competition but it is what it is on competitive online military games.
This is still a game, and games should be fun. After all, you still play with different people all the time (almost). Not all of them are that bad. And word victory is not the most important thing I guess, immersive and non-toxic experience is way more valuable these days.
