Why not just have 3 players of max level per team then fill the rest with newer players
Yeah, this was a terrible idea, what the fuck were they thinking? All my games have been exactly like this, console kids getting stomped by PC players with hundreds of hours. It’s like none of them have even played a game before let alone know anything about making one

Why not give us realistic game mode with at least semi historical squad loadouts. Both playerbases will be happy after that.
You can have your Space Marine battles in current mode as long as you wish, I will not care anymore after that.
problem is, it’s the only objective of this game.

all you do, is fighting over a field to take some objective, or kill the enemies to get xp. and once you reached enough stuff, you will end up getting all the stuff.

unfortunately, there isn’t something to stick people after that line.
for me, personally i’m hoping for some sort of grand operations, ( multiple objective where not always the equipment matters unlike currently ) or to the very least, co-op.
as stated in another post, majority of the time i play, i get my discord full of dms from people that compliment and/or rant about me on how bad i killed them.
personally, i don’t mind the negativity, but they got a bloody point. which somewhat makes me feel guilty.
i personally don’t like ruin someone experience. but unfortunately it’s what happens. and not just me.
they get in the same match as everyone just to fill matches.
and passed that, what next?
on the other hand though, it’s not easy. as it’s inevitable.
late game will be very lame just like war thunder. wins who ever has the better tank and manage to camp more.
i honestly don’t know what can be done about it.
it’s like a sinking ship with no more duck tape to fill holes.
and as i said, i don’t personally hate the game. it’s quite fun. but i’m starting to dislike this model where instead of having a game based on historical aspects, it ends up be a generic competitive game full of people with bunnyhop, camping with machineguns in every corner, and automatic meta everywhere.
the only thing we can relay on, is the custom games. but i don’t know how much choices do we have that can impact the weaponary and other stuff.
as said earlier, perhaps i’m getting older, or i’m very " saturated " with competitive fps.
the only reason why i still play it, it’s to get equipment, and hope for a coop. so there, me and many other indivudals can have fun without hurting someone experience.
but that is just me.

Sure. Limit amount of SMGs. Problem is historically entire divisions were armed with StG44s and every US soldier had M1 garands while very few Germans had G43s. Wouldnt work

i think most would be fine with germany g43 because garand but my main issue is all soldiers getting access to full autos when that wouldn’t really be the case in ww2

Wouldn’t that make every squad essentially the same? One guy with an automatic, several riflemen and an MG. Not sure what the correct load out would be but they would all be very similar if you limited weapons that way.

something that they could take in consideration such as models are; Every RTS or many other games that has coop with progression.
one particular model that i think it’s excellent ( despite being a game of nit-pique )
is insurgency sanstorm. you have PVE and PVP content. from both, you can get xp ( which yes, technically it’s only for cosmetic, but for enlisted, could be normal xp ) or just like the upcoming battlefield game with the portal.
you gain experience by playing the game. and above all, how you like it.
not being forced to do something that you don’t like.
you want to play PVE?
you have that.
you want to play PVP?
same.
and above all, people can play the PVE and if they feel like it’s not good enough, they can always go for PVP with a bit of equipment gained from PVE.
something that i don’t see alot of issues coming from it.
especially if you like the game, and you want to support more what you see, premium account and squads are there for everyone to contribute their part.
but once again, perhaps it’s just me.

you can already do that since assault 3 and sniper 3 are a thing on moscow and normandy, and yeah that is what the military is like, everyone gets the same equipment while specialized guy gets different equipment

Also, same as I do. And I run almost full Kar98k squads in Normandy. Had to disband half a fuking division to upgrade them.
And best thing is that I, an old tard, can have 125 kills with mostly bolt actions and be happy with it.
