Playing every single faction has made me go broke hardcore.
In general I went from like 3 millionish to like this…

reminder that making a 9 men rifleman squad with G41 or Garands cost around 200k, and that is without rerolling soldier for the best possible stats.

I wish I had bought more high level soldiers to sell. I didn’t trust that they wouldn’t pull the rug out from under us.

I had 846 silver troop orders at merge and could have made MUCH more silver.

Ah well. I sit with over 1M silver and have everything unlocked and purchased in at least some quantity. Can’t really complain about my situation. I still have hundreds and hundreds of soldiers and weapons in reserve too so I guess that’s sort of an insurance policy.

I just hope they buff the silver grind a bit (mostly for players who aren’t as fortunate as many of us are).

And they have the income the way it is? Wow.

Now imagine doing that with FG-42s, M2 carbines, Type Hei automatic, Or even AVS/ECT

It’s probably like 500k or even up to 600k

One thing that has given me pause is the notion the people expect to buy huge numbers of new weapons and fully upgrade them on the spot.

Before merge, weapon upgrades were pretty expensive. It’s the was the one area where I was regularly currency limited.

I’d not have expected to buy > 10 - 20 Type Hei Automatics and fully upgrade them without it costing and absolute fortune in bronze (which I may not have had despite plenty of other currency). The notion that a new BR5 weapon is out and you should be able to buy 20+ and upgrade them is… foreign to me. It seems like a new thought.

I feel that, though I would like the economy to be easier, people are forgetting what the past reality was. I accept, in advance, if I’m off base here. Just thinking out loud.

Had roughly 3 mil at merge…have spent half of it. (still asset rich I suppose. have hoards of most items/soldiers and vehicles fully upgraded…)

but the numbers not going back up very quickly lol

it is the same, most guns from Tier III cost the same as Tier V ones. It cost around 13K to buy and max upgrade a Lanchester (BR II) or a M2 Carbine (BR V).

A G41, G43 and both FG-42 cost exactly the same, one of the reasons why it feels like there is a ton of “filler” or useless weapons; at least with bolt actions most are cheap enough to be able to mix or try them.
