This Could be cool. Just have a rating system at the end of the game where you rate how the commander did in a few areas of play. Let players select the commander in each battle based on the ratings in these different areas.
Maybe take 30 sec to a min at the start of the game to decide this.
Well, it worked well enough in Red Orchestra
Post Scriptum has a commander. However, PS is a different style of game then Enlisted where every player is supposed to have a mic to communicate. There is a communication system built into the game. Average soldier communicates to his squad leader who communicates with the Commander. The PS commander directs artillery and airstrikes. Squad leaders report to the commander to direct strikes and organizes assaults or defense. He also gives orders to logistic squads and AFVs.
The individual soldier can hear nearby conversations around him between other soldiers.
The language differences are based on serversâŚGerman Only, French Only, English only. Enlisted would have to have multiple servers. I donât see this as happening
The closest thing to a command system in Gaijins box of games is World War, and that has not been very successful to date. I donât think the Devs are going to copy Post Scriptum and develop a command system
I know iâm late. Anyways, my 2 cents on the topic:
There should be a votekick with a majority vote requirement. (50%) (also providing a reason as a parameter)
That would solve the abusive commander but also some teamkiller problems.
To all who say it wonât work, it wonât at first but after a few years, when more ppl get familiar with the game and the system it probably will.
I also totally like Reachfortheskyâs (@ReachForTheSky) idea.
