Cant wait for this in September

Does anyone still believe it?

At this point the biggest positive surprise I expect from the devs is not the assymetrical pacyfic campaign but bipods that aren’t shit.

It never left mainland Japan

This game includes a lot of experimental, prototype, and rare weapons and vehicles so I wouldn’t be surprised if we get some of Japan’s rare/ experimental tanks

Using special tactic as balance is not a good idea for this game. Most player can’t even do flanking or using tactic, they just spam w key and go straight to cap. So those special tactic may not be used effectively by most player.

Looking at the number automatic weapon in this game, banzai charge would be shred easily.

We already have mine in the game but I will say it is not a very effective weapon.

I though most player hate explosive spam?

The Semovente 75/34 never left Italy either, so it’s fine.

Anyone want to place a wager we see the ZH29 in this campaign whenever it comes?

That’s why I wrote: "IF they tried a little…

Yes :stuck_out_tongue:. But for Japan ONLY. Maybe as a new mechanic: all other faction from all other campaigns got back the kamikaze nerf, when if you crash before your bomb explode, your kills don’t count. Exept for Japan.

This way, you kill 2 birds with 1 stone: less kamikaze everywhere EXEPT for pacific Japan, and you get a meme worthy mechanic for the less well equipped faction.

Lets be real.
They screwed Tunisia and Stalingrad and Berlin isnt really free von retarded copy+paste either (still wondering why no MP28 as starter).
I just dont wanna get the Germans and Soviets again. Thats all I want for now.

Even if it’s faction locked, I still think it’s a terrible idea, especially considering that Japan is lacking least of all in terms of Aircraft with many of their CAS options being on par or superior to German or Soviet counterparts. Thus encouraging kamikaze is completely unnessacary. Japan only really has 2 areas where they struggle, Semi-auto/select fire rifles and tanks. None of your solutions really correct for those, but only makes the gameplay more gimmicky.

Yeah, we don’t need MP 40 or PPSh 41 again for the umpteenth time.

I hope we will get stuff like the V-2

… and Horten or Sturmvogel…

And Puppchen.

Type 99 MG vs M2 carbine as select-fire rifle unlocks

Unlikely, it will more likely be Type 11 LMG or the Type Hei LMG. The Type 99 is basically a Bren so it will likely be an MG.

Here’s the list of Japanese infantry weapon.

Japanese did not had MP28, it was SIG-Bergman M1920, a variant of MP18 with bayonet, 50 ammo magazine and 7.63mm Mauser bullets.

Type 99 is basically an expanded Type 96 lmg and their ancestor is Hotchkiss machine gun (Japanese version of Hotchkiss Mle1897 with 6.5mm 30th year type cartridge). Japanese machine gun basis on ZB vz.26 series is Type 97 vehicle heavy machine gun for tanks.

Well you are correct, but when trying to explain to a layman about what the Type 99 and Type 96 looks like, it is easier to just compare it to a Bren as they do look similar. Although I will admit that yes, the internal components of a Type 99 have barely anything in common with a Bren.

oh i was just guessing the stupidest sf possible for the japs hahahahah like u all expecting them to give the U.S.A/allies a upperhand for infantry then they just give ‘mg for all’ and leave allies with the m2 no one seems to like much
