Bulldozers or engineering vehicles or stronger tanks

It can introduce bulldozers or engineering vehicles that can push wrecks away, or so that tanks have more strength so they can push them down. I’m all for it because I couldn’t cross the Moltki Bridge in the Berlin Company recently because of the large number of wrecks of players on it.

The problem is who should deal with that bulldozer when it is destroyed during removal.
Might as well make sure the tanks can be easily pushed away. Or, as has been said before, engineers should be given the ability to dismantle the wreckage.

I agree. Possibly also be able to salvage building materials by scrapping tank hulls. Helpful for new engineer squads or specialized squads that don’t have multiple engineer slots available.

I keep seeing this pop up as a topic, but I NEVER see anyone talking about the base source of the problem:
Why there are so many dead tanks there to begin with!
Yes, it is a choke point.
Yes, there will be people watching it with the means to kill tanks.
HOWEVER, almost all tanks have the options for smoke. Either through smoke shells or smoke grenades. That is how you push up without constantly lining up with dead tanks! Plus if you are in a group with others, make use of smoke artillery, smoke mortars, or even handheld smoke grenades!

Advanced players using higher grade tanks should be making use of smoke to advance, therefore fewer high end tank wrecks in the choke point itself. Most of the lighter tanks that beginners die in CAN be pushed rather easily by advanced tanks.

Being able to outright remove tank husks is a BAD IDEA. Many players will break down anything they see the option to, without actually thinking if its a good or bad idea. Those tank husks are often times either:

  1. The only cover still standing to push up as an attacker. If a mindless player breaks it down because they CAN, then they screw over their entire team.
  2. Its the only way to block enemy tanks as defense. Czech Hedgehogs are FAR too easy to break, as any infantry, including tankers, are allowed to break them down. Which I’ve already had plenty of problems with mindless teammates breaking down hedgehogs when they are near the enemy spawn side and not hindering our tanks AT ALL. They break them down because they CAN.
Sometimes stopping the enemy armor is the only way to survive.
  3. Given the lack of options to build SOLID structures, tank husks are sometimes the ONLY option to seal off an entrance, given that almost all objectives have at MINIMUM 3-4 main entrances. I realize run-and-gun players see less movement as a negative, but on defense your objective is to hold the point, not get the most kills. That greed would inevitably cause them to break down that tank husk just to run forward easier, despite how bad it would screw their team.

Overall, tank husks need to remain. They should NOT be able to be broken down.
HOWEVER, I can agree perhaps with a way to PUSH them with larger tanks more effectively.

Its not with a tank, but it would still help immensely.

You get a bigger bulldozer to push that bulldozer out of the way

Smoke need to be buffed, it currently sucks

I’ve already did a topic about it : TNT charge should be able to be use to destroy obstacle (Tank wreck, tank trap, trees, walls, etc)
