like, what if i don’t like a certain, squad. what am i supposed to do? what are the limits? what are the differences? upgrade the squad to make them stronger in which sense.

I’m not a developer so I don’t know what are their goals. What I can say is that this method will allow devs to give us more premium squads who will use some rare weapons. These weapons will hopefully just be rare and not OP. More cool looking premium squads = more money for the developing team.

where basically the assault section, have for the majority m1s, in the second assault section it’s basically the same thing, and for the special weapon section, they are basically a full and real powefull meta. as they can actually deal with any threat possible.
and the platoon hq get smgs? and snipers?
this does not much sense to me.
you are not addressing moscow campaign, and normandy campaign, as both are quite the opposite.
from what i can barely understand, it’s a way in the middle.
If you don’t like 1 engineer squad, you will have some other also engineer squads that will be slightly different but will all share an engineer at their team.
it’s just a bounch of pictures not even complete, as i’m telling you that this idea is generalized. like, ok, there are other variations. but you are not showing them
you should make a proper suggestion, should be something well organized, thought in every detail, like:
( no, i’m not here to brag, but as you can see, it’s simple, provides alot of pictures, and covers all aspects and i didn’t found any other well organized suggestion as most of those are just: " plz add this" . )
but the main point is, we are speaking of progression system. which it’s one of the main point of enlisted. without it, not many people will play it, as moe many times explained which it’s correct.
it also gives you reason to keep playing, and gives you satisfaction.
from you suggestion, i don’t really see why and how can replace the currect one.

I really like this idea and I would love to see how it works in game, but I´m also concerned, that for this to happen axis action bolts should probably get more in line with soviets in terms of damage to not get outclassed. (yes I ignored the long discussion under your suggestion for now, this post are just my thoughts about the original idea itself)
Sorry but I really don’t have to give you a reason why I don’t put photoshopped pictures of suggestions in my post.
I said everything in the topic, I said that progressing will be squad based only and not weapon based, I also said that this will be a new method of progressing, I never said anything about removing the whole progression system and making the game boring. People will still unlock new squads and squads that player unlocks at the end will probably be more unique and will contain more rare weapons than those unlocked at the beginning.

Depending on body part you hit of course, but yeah some tradeoffs should be fair if they are not too draconic. It would also allow them to be more “specialized” on certain role (Perhaps damage reduction should be rather applied over the distance for shorter barrels?)
I feel like there’s a lot that has to change for this to work. Everything from the game mode to maps. And I doubt beta is the stage to make such big changes.
It would be pretty cool if it works as long as there is balance between equipment(one can hope). But it’s a long shot.

Maybe not completely redesigning the maps as I don’t really want 11 men squads (I couldn’t find pictures of 7 men squads).
