I am taking back my every criticism about normandy allies or pacific allies.
They have execuse bcs they lack real players.
Berlin axis is not.
I tried to see how bad it really is ,
Oh boy
and all complaints are real, even worse.
I leveled up to 6 level and no i am not talking about equipment difference.
Only 1 of my soldier have smg, rest is bolt action.
Without any additional equipment, rifle upgrades or whatever, i just give engineer to every one of my squads. I did a little experimentation basically
Result:
I didnt even sweat myself or ambitious about winning
But majority of matches i ended up in top 3
And let me remind you matchmaker doesnt exist so everybody playing with mixed teams (veteran+low level)
Nobody build rallies
Not covering flanks
Nobody ssems familiar with maps or trying other routes.
What the hell has happened to axis berlin playerbase ? This conplete horsesh**
Axis is in Moscow atm, while allies are in Berlin…
It’s just the latest fad. Changes regularly, nothing is set in stone.
Even allies Normandy might utterly cush axis again eventually, like it used to before…
Just gotta follow the trends… til theres dome proper human vs human mm implemented.
Dude iam not talking about bots. I prefer bots at least they use rallies more often and go to objective. Real players are pain in the a** right now. This is sadder than playing with bots.

Some players just want to goof around and have fun in a more relaxed way. Bit of a problem in Berlin because it’s the most fast paced and violent campaign of them all, but can’t really blame others for having fun… or being just too low lvl and not understanding everything yet.
See that’s the curse of being a veteran player: you know how to win, and expect others to know the same. But it’s not how things are… what we take for evident and easy to understand might be much more difficult to grasp than we think for new players…
When this happens, I try using a less meta class I use less often, for the fun of it. Might lose, sure, but at least I’ll have fun. Like using fighter planes for example. They don’t cap points, but are very fun and more relaxing (to me).
with new playerbase explosion coming this year this will be improved a bit.
yes well, in roadmap there is nothing mentioned about matchmaker however
I didnt find berlin as " too violent and chaotic" actually and you still can do good with bolties.

Harshest campaign i think is normandy.
Real chaos lies in normandy, and biggest problem is not smg spam but explosions.

(Personally, I enjoy Axis Berlin. But it’s only fun to play from 4pm-8pm Pacific Standard Time, American server.
From my experience, the rest of the day, Berlin’s playerbase is mostly dead, unless it’s a weekend.)
Same goes for Tunisia.
Normandy and Moscow seem to be the most consistently populated with players.
I have a similar perspective. When I am on a team that is stacked vs low ranking players, I won’t use my Tank, aircraft, flamethrowers, or radiomen. Otherwise, it’s hardly fair for the other team when they can’t really do much to fight back against high-tier vehicles/weaponry.
No biggie if my team loses. It’ll be more encouraging for the new players on the other team.
I actually don’t mind this because it adds some variety to matches. Obviously not everyone is the same but usually the most high leveled players will use the absolutely best of the best equipment meaning that at a certain point you’d probably not see certain weapons, vehicles, etc again in matches. When you have the team have everyone from high to low and everything in between it shows all the variety
i am seeing life in allies normandy. considering one sided axis roflstomps that were usual in normandy, allies are now fighting back and can win quite often.
Those are probably bot squads, I made recently a topic about them. There I had a battle where I was the only real axis player. On the other hand there are also a lot of battles where it’s full with axis veterans. Imo players are just badly distributed by the MM.
